The Crux 1 is a surprisingly good printer. I have several 3d printers but this is my goto for small prints. It prints great ever time.

Negative retraction on layer start might sort out those missing spots on the Captain America bust.

It's a good thing to see that Tronxy finally did away with their proprietary firmware and switched to Marlin. Also the Z end stop switch is a way better sollution for the Z offset than that blue auto leveling sensor that they used on their XY series. Which is some sort of inductive sensor that relies on metal detection.. on an aluminium bed.. yeah. Which in combination with said firmware always caused the Z offset to be way off. Looks like tronxy stepped up their game quite considerably. Also, none of the other reviews I've seen on the Crux 1 had such bad prints...

Put it on a stable surface and reprint. So many reviewers make bad prints and just give excuses. The prints shown have just stopped me from buying this.

Hey for everyone who used this printer do you recommend this printer for makers i know the majority of 3d printer users make print complex figures and shapes but my use would be simpler with no complex shapes do you suggest it for me ?

capable little directive drive. Z height is too small for my needs tho
@zk_6312 Жыл бұрын
You might be able to fix the bed heating issue by compiling a newer version of marlin firmware. Assuming of course that main board can handle a full version of marlin instead of what looks to be custom firmware and if marlin has an example config file for this printer. I wonder if the board is 8-bit or 32-bit. Otherwise it looks like a good printer though I don't like the issues you were having.

Tronxy crux 1 or Kingroon kp3s?
@HoffmanEngineering2 жыл бұрын
If portability and easy of use is important to you, crux 1. If you absolutely need the highest print quality and don't mind a larger footprint taking up more bench space, then the KP3S. Ender 2 Pro is also a great option, right in the middle of the two.

Kp3s pro has integrated power supply and filament runout sensor. Does that change anything?

High what other 3d printer in this price range would be better and simple to set up ? Ty
@HoffmanEngineering Жыл бұрын
The Tronxy Crux 1 is comparable with the Ender 2 Pro and the Kingroon KP3S, so those are other options.

Have anyone has this issue where the print doesn't print on the bed I fixed the gcode to purge on the bed but I went to do a calibration test and it printed off the bed the purge line didn't but the print did and it was centered in cura before slicing and idea what might be happening
@aryaemam984711 ай бұрын
You gotta set the dimensions on the cura software to be the same as the printer itself which is 180x180x180mm, and copy the start and end code provided on the manual also you have to level the plate properly using the piece of paper provided
