This is one of my favorite microwave meals because it's cheap and it tastes really good. When it's done cooking I always add a little bit of garlic powder, basil, and crushed red pepper flakes. It comes out amazing.

When you go to a pot luck and see the crock pot with the miniature hot dogs in it, 9 out of 10 times that's how it was made. You mix a bottle of chili sauce with a jar of grape jelly, add the hot dogs and heat in the crock pot. If you like hot food, substitute jalapeno jelly for the grape jelly.

I always avoided microwaved pasta for obvious reasons (squishy reheated crap), but I tried this because I am a fan of meatballs. This was a surprise winner because it is a very generous portion and the sauce is tasy and actually has a mild kick to it. Much more tasty than any microwaved pasta deserves to be. I usually pick up at least one of these when I go to the store for a quick meal as needed.

I have a theory as to why the cooking times are longer than they should be. It could be because they can't predict how powerful someone's microwave is, so if someone undercooks it and gets sick, then Banquet is legally protected because the consumer didn't follow their directions.

Many frozen entrees here in Canada (at least) specify that the heating time is based on an 1100 watts microwave. Higher power equipment is available, if uncommon.

Tried this last week. Wasnt bad.Oven direction is the best route. Couldnt finish the rest so i ate the rest next day. If u pan fry the leftovers alittle and toss some mozarella over its actually really good.

Excellent video review, as always. Package weight is of prime importance in a food processing factory. Regarding the number of meatballs, it is obvious the pasta was added to the bowl before the meat balls. Perhaps a little bit too much pasta came down the chute, or the meatballs are not exactly uniform in weight or size. You may want to consider weighing the container(s) before cooking.

Before watching: I've had these and really liked them! There's way too much sodium, but for something this tasty, I'm willing to deal with it for an occasional treat. I also didn't really notice any mozzarella on top of mine when I tried it -- I suspect it blended in with the tomato sauce, which is fine by me.
