2:17 small correction: nightsoul burst isn’t triggered by dealing nightsoul-aligned damage, it’s triggered by dealing ANY elemental damage while you have a character from natlan in your party. So if you’re running yae with xilonen, just doing a NA with yae will trigger nightsoul burst. This doesn’t rly matter right now, there aren’t any effects that care which character is triggering nightsoul burst. Could be a pain in the ass in the future if a unit did care about who triggers it tho. They’d basically always have to do their stuff first in a rotation.

Chevreuse. Unique and very useful, both on release and likely for years ahead. Ororon's biggest strength is that he buffs through the right artifact set, but we will get multiple supports from Natlan and we don't need more than one set holder for a team, so considering his underwhelming damage and low uptime on ult, he is likely to be forgotten in a few patches. Still, he's an off-fielder with some supportive capabilities, which is far more useful than other 4 star male characters we were getting for years by now

I still think 4*s should have similar power to Faruzan and Chevreuse. They are REALLY good to have. Ororon's kit in itself is pretty meh. He is being carried solely by Cinder city, which is why (for me) his numbers feel so capped.

About Electro Charged procs. The best way to solve the proc issue is to build the Electro character full EM. Single target electro spreads to all wet enemies, but NOT vice versa IIRC. Moreover Electro Charged works like Aggravate, it deals an instance of damage when proccing. So as long as your Electro EM carry's ele app is faster than the Hydros it will mostly take ownership of the reactions. It's less Electro charged damage then full team with EM, but you can then build the hydros for Talent damage or support. IDK how to solve this on taser, tho. But Succ and Kazoo build full EM anyways.

yeah but the thing is unless ur electro is fischl, not many can overtake hydro of xingqiu and stuff. And then with fischl and xingqiu its just a war of who gains ownership. Its a nightmare either way and most characters played in taser have amazing damage to sacrifice for EM. like bulding full em beidou or fischl or raiden or clorinde or even ororon is a waste.

Ororon the only one I care about this patch. Don't really want Chasca coz I already have so much on-field dps units. I already own all 3 rerunning units too. At this point I'm now looking forward to more off-field dps/supports coz it opens up more team building flexibility just exactly what I'm looking for on Ororon. you dont have to hit with nightsoul aligned damage to activate nightsoul burst. the only two requirements for triggering the nightsoul burst is to have a natlan character in your team and dealing elemental damage with anyone (doesnt have to be the natlan character)

This is a smart community so i hope someone can give me a smart answer. i DO NOT understand how the damage calcs work just how to relate info into my own builds Did the point of relative Diminishing returns change with the multiplier increase? Previously i believe it was somewhere around like 450-650 (don't know exact number.) Yes i am AWARE almost no one builds cross hybrid EM and Crit characters with knowledge like this but i find it very helpful when experimenting with niche but effect team architypes (which is what i enjoy playing most) so any info would be wonderful if someone genuinely knows. I just want to know at what point on the Degressive curve EM starts trailing off, or if for instance it even still is a degressive curve.

Hmm I'm not too knowledgeable but I've seen the calc sheets before so I'll try to word it out. I don't think the diminishing return breakpoint has changed too much. Cause when in 1.6 swirl got buffed it changed our build priority cause before that anemo units were only for vv and grouping (since swirl was so bad no point in wasting stats on em). We focused on er and even attack in venti's case. But when swirl was viable we went full em. But with this reaction buff, nothing should change since we are already looking at the units as electro charge units and not crit units. We already build em and er with the proper team!, Tldr: Big no. is bigger cause reaction multiplier is at the end of equation. Build like normal (focus on em threshold based on how much er they need) Hope that was ok?

I don''t think it is very hard to trigger cinder city complete for everyone with his burst on the field. He is in the night soul blessing state for 6 s after the passive is triggered. This is enouugh time after using a hydro or natlan character to normal attack + burst with bennet and make another elemental damage with a third character.

he can also be a cinder city holder for chevrolet teams something like arlechinno-chev-benny-ororon should work fine. usually the electro slots don't buff arle in a significant way and you rely more on their personal dmg, like fischl or beidou. only buffer i can think for the electro side on arle teams is ttds lisa...

It does not work like that unfortunately, as he explained you’re not doing any nightsoul damage if there’s no hydro/electro dmg, meaning you don’t get the full 40% from Cinder

Huzzah! Finally a Fischl alternative! I don't care whether it is Genshin or WoW or any other game, your DPS doesn't matter if you're dead. I hate Fischl because I hate having to restart every time a light breeze one-shots her or eats up most of the shield on her so the fielder has no shield left to work with thanks to her nonexistent defense. Problem is I don't like Lyney and I'm not in the market for another fielder so time to make a bad decision to pull for a 4-star.
