Why i like Dendro MC the best OUT OF ALL CHARACTERS is that the Traveller's Burst is the ONLY burst that change (either visually or function) when it reacts to other elements. it made the gameplay much more unique and teambased. Hoyo really did put all their Hoyussy in MC Dendro character kits... Now Pyro.... c'mon please dont let it be like Hydro.

Wanderer gains stats based on which element he came in contact with when using skill like 20 crit rate with cryo or 30% attack with Pyro.Its the same thing as the DMC burst

While I understand why the hydro/ electro reaction with dendro traveler is better, god seeing big nukes with the pyro reaction are satisfying. Not easy to do so when the set up actually nukes it’s great (mainly when it’s done on a traveler that doesn’t have some r5 limited weapon) Overall though this was a cool series, loved every vid

Dendro Traveler's output can definitely be surprisingly high Also interesting to hear about the intricacies of their Burst, I looked into it a bit and KQM's Theorycrafting Library does correctly state that C2 Burst hits 11 times without Electro Transfiguration and up to 17 times with Electro Transfiguration, with the potential for 1 extra hit if Transfiguration occurs at very specific times (I'm still not entirely sure why it only works for specific times). There's a whole detailed spreadsheet by pai with testing linked there. :O I have done some stuff on the wiki so I could probably correct this at some point

The hit timing is a bit weird. For example, when I applied hydro, I got a double application within a few frames of one another. The timing seems to have something to do with tricking the burst into thinking that it didn't fire an initial shot when it had already. It feels like you need to apply the specific element immediately after the first shot of the burst occurs to get the extra hit proc, but I would need to look through frames to really see if that is true

I have not checked any leaks for the pyro MC, cause personally, I know that even if they're god like, I'll stick to the dendro version. I have formed a personal attachment to it. It's just too cool to remember, "the first sage of Buer". I could have all the dendro characters in the game, but I'm still farming for that perfect set of DMC deepwood relics

Mihoyo could've made dendro traverler so much better. They should've made some constellations that remove their IDC, as well as extend the duration of the burst through reactions. So, let's say you add water to extend the range. Then, just before the burst end, at electro to extend its duration and get the ticks of damage. Or add Pyro to make a burgeoning mine field. I'm sure they didn't do this, because then the Traveler would've had a kit to similar to Emilie's.

there's a problem with that, how tk indicate just before the burst ends. also the kit is already simple and effective and how does it become more like emilie? all emilie does is dmg that gets more powerful with burning being triggered

The reason the traveller's kit is always underwhelming is because it's supposed to be a tutorial character to teach the players about the element or mechanic of the region. That's why I'm hopeful with pyro MC, because Kachina was Natlan's tutorial on the nightsoul mechanic so maybe that allows them to actually make a good kit. That being said, Hoyo sometimes makes weird decisions so who knows...

7:08 Just for some clarification, Fischl's A4 passive doesn't proc on Spread, only on the initial Quicken or on Aggrevates. The passive only triggers when an electro reaction is performed. The Quicken status is treated as a Dendro aura, and when you add another dendro attack to do Spread damage, it's a dendro on dendro reaction which means now there is no electro involved, so it doesn't proc Fischl's A4. This is also why I think they made Spread have larger damage numbers than Aggrevate to balance around Fischl...

travelers, yaoyao, kollei, baizhu dendro app is better for long cyno rotations and collei brings much more dendro for nilou teams and dendro healers are nice to have for example for chlorine’s teams so nahida doesn’t outclass everyone in every scenario.

DMC main here, i've tried so many builds for mine and i gotta say 2pc gilded/wanderers / 4pc gilded is crazy strong on him/her. Though his/her em talent scaling looks low on paper, once you reach 300 em (which is fairly easy with the sets+resonance) you'll see for yourself how significant the damage boost will be.

I'm aiming for 1000 EM or more on my Level 90 Dendro Traveler using 4pc Gilded and 3 supports. The damage isn't as high as I would expect, but the damage happens often enough to make up for it. Instructor is such an underrated artifact. I've been holding on to mine for around 2 years. I was considering refining Thousand Dreams this banner. But it's not worth only 2 EM. I wonder why the refinement benefit is so low. Not worth the investment at all.

I value geo and dendro to be the best traveler's forms, the preferable overall mostly depends on the units you have available and the teams that you play. Personality, I'm more inclined on the geo version, due to having nahida, collei elegy, al haitham and baizhu for hyperbloom/burgeon and quicken teams, and yaoyao-Candace for nilou bloom teams. Because of this, I don't find myself compelled on using dendro traveler and to an extent, not even taking it in consideration, as any replacement he has, offers either more elemental application, buff (including utilities) and/or personal damage, and the overall dmg floor and ceiling is much higher than with the traveler. But while it's the case for me, if you don't own nahida or baizhu, dislike the gameplay with ceirtain alternatives (like collei) and don't play nilou bloom, I can see the dendro version of the traveler being the better alternative for that account. Geo traveler, on the other end, is a unit that I find myself playing more than I would imagine... He has very high and quick instances of dmg, great energy and particles generation for the team, gives minor buffs like 10% cr at c1, and his burst, besides being on the lower end of energy needs, has more than 100% uptime at c6. So he is one of the preferred choices whenever I play a Noelle or navia team. In those, I usually play him as a quick swap unit, to funnel energy while dealing some considerable dmg or filling possible downtimes on skills. I also play him in other cores, which mostly involve the presence of Bennett/zhongli... I've played microwave many times, a team where zhongli's dmg is amplified by 5 times (on skill) due to construct restrictions not applying to traveler's geo constructs (burst), and where the dmg of both is further amplified by bennett. Nowadays, I play Furina as the forth option for the team, and it's a quite effective and fun team to play, ironically enough. I've also played him in other instances, like national, dual geo, quicken, overload ecc.. mostly using archaic petra, I had some surprising success in the abyss, even in the weirdest of compositions.

I've overlooked a thing, now that I think of it. Kinich is also a factor that determines whether you might avoid using dendro traveler, due to it being relient on burning/burgeon, and Bennett being (arguably) his best teammate... In this scenario, its quite hazardous to opt for dendro traveler... Either you need to cut out some important characters to make this work and/or being scrutinous on the burst's positioning... (Also, it's only a thing if you don't have emilie). So it can be a let down on considering traveler as an option, and makes it more improbable that you would use it, as the second team could be a non dendro archetype or already having better alternatives.

Personally hoping the Pyro Traveler has an alternate sprint. The big thing that makes me think that is the Sturdy Bone weapon, which has a buff of sorts for alternate sprint users. ...of which there is exactly one.

currently available Alt Sprinters, as of 5.1: Mona & Ayaka. All Natlan characters released thus far have been designed to emphasize or highlight the movement mechanics exclusive to their Tribe's saurians. For that reason, I'm inclined to think that the Sturdy Bone counts skill-based alt sprints. Skill-based Alt Sprinters: Hu Tao, Wanderer, Arlecchino, Kachina, Mualani & Xilonen. It may also register Furina & Kokomi's ability to run on water during their skill/burst-mode. I don't have a copy of Sturdy Bone to personally test what it counts as an "alt sprint" so this list is purely speculative.

pyro mc is questionable, leaks say that he will be support, i dunno if we can trust leakers but what one of them posted (i dont remember who was it) is like pyro mc ult is gonna buff atk but not like bennet? it will take some time for a full atk buff accumulate and he will have a fvlking cannon that flies around dealing damage? well if thats true im not exited for mavuika/citlali and capitano, im exited to get bennet 2.0 it sound amazing (i have alot of atk scaling main dps`es on my account so i would greatly appreciate pyro mc if hes gonna buff atk) oh and i just realize if pyro mc cant heal like benny then my furina is useless in those comps 😭😭😭😭

there is no motion value and theories dont even care about damage since they are about the lore what you showed is total damage , not some other term just dmg of single instance * number of instances thats the total damage

"Motion value" in this context is used to specifically refer to the talent multipliers (usually the first values to be multiplied by ATK) _before_ all the other modifiers like DMG Bonus, CRIT, reactions and EM, opponent DEF and RES, etc. come into play.
