I can agree on that it is hard to find a single seller to buy from. My last purchase on tcgplayer involved 23 different sellers, and unfortunately my Tomeltai was the only one that got lost in the mail...

I must be one of the few fans of Bright Lights. Found it to be new player friendly with the Crack shuffle play and having just four packs for sealed. There are complexities but at the same time you can play at the level you are. Maxx is a good entry point. Never played Mechanologist before and was keen to try the class. Keen on the future FaB sets going into different classes as I can then try them all eventually without feeling like I missed certain heroes/classes when they came out.

I like the set overall! Just set fatigue happened WAY faster than I thought. 4 months between sets + only 1 class in EVO was the reason I think for me

Bill, im always around if you need a co host while the boys are off globe trotting. Also while i did 4-0 a pre-release with Kayo, the most fun deck i have played in Hvy sealed was a beat chest/trade in Rhinar deck in the team Sealed event in Queenstown.

Great cast. Gotta agree that it's so sad to see FaB kind of push people out of opening sealed product, due to their ever growing trend of making pull rates rarer and rarer, effectively making the EV of sealed boxes and cases garbage, and so average players, social or casual players really struggle, as there's not even enough stock being opened and singles sellers. There's a real story market appearing which really sucks.

I have to agree with the pull rates making me not want to buy sealed product any more. I use to buy 4 to 6 cases of each set, after doing that for Bright Lights and not getting so many playsets I'm moving to singles.

Theoretically in this set, provided the expansion slot pull rates are the same 1:4. Five cases would get you a playset of all Majestics, but I'd imagine collation would be a thing.

Fallen Empires is a cool set. Overprinting and half sized packs gave it a bad rap. Homelands is okay if you subtract 2 from the casting cost of every card and activated ability. Even the art direction was kinda bad.

I've drafted Fallen Empires more than once (back when boxes were $40 - we even did it for one of my birthday parties lol) and it's pretty jank. I love it though

The best run I had was Kayo started 3-0 finished 3-1 😭. However Kassai is my favorite looking hero of the set.

It's very lucrative to be a single seller for FAB. You just need to open at scale. Fab has much better EV when buying boxes at 75 bucks than any magic product, for which an average box now costs north of 130. Did you know that Bright Lights, which was a polarising set, has over 20 cards (foils included) worth 30+ more dollars. What equivalent box of cards, I.e. 65-70 dollars has more? What mtg standard box of cards, which costs more, had 20+ cards over 30 bucks 4 months after release? Even better can you name a different game that has so many hits?

This is how silly the comparision between bright lights and homelands/fallen empires. Its been almost 30 years since release of those sets and they do not have a single card over 20 bucks. Bright Lights has 20+ cards between normal, rf, and cf over 30 bucks. Including an almost 500 dollar card. Just entertaining that comparision is boarderline mental lol. What's even worse is that homeland and fallen empires cost more in dollars on their release than bright lights on its release.

Including super high rarity chase cards in that feels disingenuous. There's a few cards over $10 (mostly expansion slot cards) that aren't marvels/legendaries. If you open an absolute shitload of product you might come out well. For the average consumer it's rough and they should def buy singles

@RedZoneRogue it's part of the set so I included it. Ever since wtr alpha fab has always been feast or famine and has always been a product meant to be open en masse. If you want to try a luck buy a box or case, but yes I agree for most just buy the singles.
