Coach Kerr needs to open his eyes to the talent Kuminga is!

JK is fantastic and I really hope Kerr and the Warriors make the right decision to keep him and make him an official starter soon. Otherwise he's going to jump ship and go to a team who will value him and start him. I do think they are leaning more on Kuminga now and in most recent games the Kuminga praise from teammates and coaches is reaching a fever pitch. You can even see Kerr on the bench really getting hyped to see JK's improvements during games. He's doing exactly what they ask of him and improving exactly where they want him to improve.

His style of play is fun and refreshing. It’s nice to see a guy who isn’t just jacking up threes all game long. His inside game is coming along nicely and is where he really stands out. I love three pointers as much as the next person but I don’t like how the game devolved into a three point competition. Thats gets boring real quick.

Outside of the Vets this guy has been my favorite player in the NBA for the last two years, I hope he goes a long way and I think Coach Kerr and the GSW learnt a big lesson with Poole, so now they are taking it easy with these younger guys but in saying that I think JK is ready and his attitude is different then Poole.

Kuminga is making a huge leap this season. In the playoffs, his biggest issue will be his emotions and ball control. He can be in his head at times, TRYING to dominate instead of pacing himself and manipulating the defense. His change-of-pace drives are unstoppable. He just has to stop getting stripped so easily.

It seems that "starting" is a major bone of contention for most NBA players, critical to their self-esteem. Why not try this -- formalize the designation of two teams, the first and second team, maybe call them something which has no implications regarding skill or value. The "Blue" and "Gold" teams, and -- here's the critical concept -- alternate which team starts the game, and make that a rigid, invariant part of the year's schedule. The makeup of each team should be somewhat fluid over time, moving overflow players, #11 and 12, maybe, into one or the other team as needed. The #11 and 12 players, and maybe 13 and 14 could be the spot substitutes. But a successful team can't be too generous with minutes,, since the end of the bench is generally there for a reason. I see one flaw in my plan. Steph and JK should start and play 30-36 minutes every game. The other players could be configured loosely in groups of 3 to rotate in, and rotate starting. That way 11 players could consider themselves "starters". I can think of many variations on this idea which would let a larger number of players get to start on a regular rotation. I dunno, maybe it's a dumb idea. Maybe a stupid one. Forget I said anything. WAIT! I GOT it. Why not devote the first 5 minutes of every game to ego massage, and create the starting 5 according to a rigid rotation. First, number the players from #1 through #14. For the first game, start #1-5, play them for 5 minutes and then put in the people who best fit the circumstances. Second game, start #2-6, play 5 minutes. Third game start #3-7, then #4-8 and so on, through a 14 game cycle. Now I could see it getting weird if #9 is Santos, #10 is Draymond, #11 is Quinones, #12 is CP3, and #13 is The Kid Glove. If the team as a whole learned to thrive in chaos, it's possible that the improvisation and lateral thinking required might produce some transcendent moments. Or it could blow up in their faces. Forget iI said anything, again.

I see what Coach is talking, however, he probably means offense rebounds, from that list of offensive players he basically threatened their pay check. He has extraordinary talent for a guy who never played college basketball-this is where many solid basketball players learn the understanding of the team. For a third year player, he fits in well with Champions.

Last 2 playoffs shudnt be factored in regarding his performance post season. He was barely even playing after wiggins came back lol. Look at what happened when Kerr gave him the trust and the minutes. The team now looks good tbh but when gp2 cp3 moody comes back, I hope Kerr wont make the same mistake. I feel like Kerr gon play cp3, klay, wiggins, curry and draymond in closing minutes… cp3 or klay shud be benched for kuminga at this point.
