HOW GOOD IS KRAGG IN RIVALS OF AETHER 2?

ITS FINALLY HERE AND THIS GAME IS PEEEAAAK, its tough to tell whos really good early on just because everyone seems so strong, but kragg has so many options and the rock adds a second layer, game is good

Kragg is broken, I top 8ed a 38 player tournament (5-2) despite being a 1-2eur in roa 1 and Ultimate. Hes recovery is broken, he survives way to much and you get so much by grabing and dash attaquing. At high lv he may be fine but at low h e is just above the others I think). hes crouch canceling is INSANE, you have to grab him and at low pourcent its hard to combo him after a throw The ditto is the best thing in this game x)

I’ve seen this trend often with smash and alot of traditional fighting games, where the easier characters tend to be very strong at first, but eventually get overshadowed by the more difficult characters after people figure out all their tech People thought K Rool was broken on ultimates launch, but he quickly fell off. Not saying Kragg is bad in anyway, but i expect characters like wraster maypul and maybe even Clairen become much stronger once people figure them out.

Kragg is so annoying and feels like he does not have enough flaws atm, the rest of the cast feels great to me

His counterplay in Rivals1 involved out spacing his moves, whiff punishing a missed attack. Parrying his Dspecial, punishing him attempting to pull rock, as when he's holding it, all he can do is throw it. Given the fact he's a heavy, a big hurtbox, and a fast faller makes him eat combos all day long. Killing him off the top is usually what you're looking to do to close out stocks. In R2, at low percents he gets a lot of mileage off crouch canceling, so maybe try starting combos from a Dair, like Zetter or Clairen, or maybe a grab into an up throw
