My barber, who was on Taysom’s HS team in Idaho, told me a story that they were playing a team with a 4 star receiver who was torching them the entire 1st half. At half time the coach told Taysom he had to move to CB and play man coverage on that receiver, even though Taysom had never played CB before. He completely shut the guy down in the 2nd half and they won the game.

As a BYU fan, it's hard to overstate how devastating each of his injuries were. I remember crying behind the couch after he got injured in 2014 (I was 13). It's been awesome to see him carve out a great career in the NFL after everything he has been through!

well, he's got 2 years of experience as a starting QB...with a 7-2 record. His biggest criticism is that he can't throw the deep ball. But even his critics must acknowledge (cuz there's film on tape) that below 40 yards, he throws lasers. Plus he can run around after the DE sets the edge and can use his athleticism and speed to bowl over LB's and CB's. I fail to see how and why he got benched by an inferior coach like DA in favor of the red retread and Carr. But, $10 mm per year is tough to walk away from . Rather than keep him at QB2, the Saints decided to draft 2 unproven rookies in hopes for the future, as they were dissatisfied with Hill for whatever reason. Now, he's throwing blocks for Alvin, a player who reportedly complained to coaches that Hill was 'vulturing' his carries and hurting his fantasy value. IMHO,. Hill should finish out the season, maybe on the IR, and have his agent demand a trade to a team that can properly use his versatility, not throwing blocks and running into an 8-man front with a jumbo package, but as a QB, who is a true dual threat run-pass option. Or, finish out the last year of his deal in 2025 and retire with $50 mm in the bank and the lingering question about his QB chances unanswered.
@hansumjoe2 ай бұрын
In response to his dreams, he always responds to the question about Qb with the comment about 'understanding the nature of this league', which means likely that his team wouldn't support him for QB versus the likes of Jamies Winston and Alvin Kamara. Find me any QB who would accept the demotion from QB to FB and not quit or demand a trade instantly (Lamar/Herbert/Josh Allen, or Lamar, who cannot take the contact Hill does)
