I wish it was confusing to me. But I've been watching and have had my ear to the ground for years. I don't expect people who don't know me to believe me. I wish I was wrong. I've heard too many sportscasters and insider reports. Sean and Drew groomed him to be QB1 but the timing was ruined by the summer uprisings all over the nation. The NFL and media are Woke and they were shocked when they saw Taysom doing a little better than Jamie's in 2021 training camp. And that was without Hill's legs, just passing. After about 10 days, the reporting drastically changed. Cherry picking of stats like you wouldn't believe and suddenly the press was very negative. Then the locker room chatter confirmed why the guys stopped playing for Taysom but worked heroically for Jamies. Hill was designated the whipping boy for the Woke. Too white when a black QB was available. Too conservative. I read hundreds of racist posts against him and I was stunned at the online haters. They were rabid. Sean really didn't have a choice. The guys wouldn't play for him. In preseason, players sabotaged him in the games. I could give details. Lots! I heard media say they were all Team Jamies and that no media was Team Taysom. After going 7-2, DA announced the winter of 2022 that the Taysom experiment at QB was over and he would be in the TE room. That is so insulting, especially for a guy that was talked about nationally to be a strong Heisman candidate until he was injured. The media announcement was how Taysom found out that he was done as a QB. They didn't have the guts to tell him. Drew flew in and talked with DA, asking him to leave Hill party time at least, in the QB room. So DA "changed his mind." But ever since, DA does his best to limit Taysom's success so the public doesn't realize that he is purposely not letting him soar. DA is so arrogant, he believes he can do as well with other players he doesn't hate. I could give a dozen specific examples. At this point I could write a book so I'll stop with this; I probably irritate people because of my defense of Taysom who reminds me of my five sons. But I hate injustice with a passion so I try to shed light on this travesty.

As a Packers fan I'm so sad we didn't hold onto Taysom, he's become one of my favorite players to watch. You have to respect the guy as an absolute pure athlete. He's not the best at any one thing, but the guy can play pretty much any position on the field. And every single play you can tell he's giving 110%. Doesn't matter if he's lined up as receiver and it's a run to the other side, he's fucking gunning at that corner or safety and burying him and eliminating him at any chance of tackling his teammate with the ball. Every play he's making something happen or giving someone a shoulder or forearm to chew on, love to see it.

I was excited as a fan to see how he was going to be utilized with Rodger’s and they let him go….I was stunned. Luckily my #2 team, The Saints, picked him up up and it didn’t hurt as bad. Signed to the Saints as a quarterback in 2017. Earned the nickname The Swiss Army Knife while he was listed on the roster as QB #3. Someone asked Sean Payton onetime about the possibility of Hill getting injured playing special teams. Payton said, "If Hill was to get injured he would have the entire off-season to recover." I don't understand how Hill went from QB #3 to QB #2 only to be kicked out of the quarterback room. It blows my mind that Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Trevor Semian, Ian Book and even Jake Haener are considered quarterbacks in today's NFL but the narrative is that Taysom Hill isn't. I believe that if you love someone you must set them free. As much as I would hate to see Taysom Hill playing quarterback for another team I would rather see him traded to another team where he can continue his progression as a NFL quarterback instead of how The Saints organization has been jerking him around. #Free Taysom Hill.

Agreed 100% his first 4 starts he was 3-1. In the Loss, the saints Defense had one of its worst performances in 20 years. his completion percentage over those 4 games was over 73% Drew Brees was in the 72% that year. All the talking heads are payed by the Saints organization and the push the narrative that the saints organization wants them to push. Every team in the NFL does this. There was Obviously Tension and Disagreements Between the Saints organization and Sean Payton and the direction the team should take. Why else would he retire then start coaching for the Broncos? The Saints wanted a QB that they did not have to pay a lot of money for. Taysom Hill was used to win games by taking snaps from the Other below average QB's. Hill is the major reason we won games. if he didn't get enough snaps in a game, we lost. Love how these Idiot Commentators have Determined and some how set in Stone that Hill is not and Never will be a QB. Yet he is 8-2 as a starter. Hill Gives Everyting as a Player. He Is a Baller. He is a Winner. He Has earned the right to be a starter, but that will happen at the Saints, he is too valuable making up the short comings of the other players.

I think this should go down in history as one of the worst moves the Saints ever made 3 years of searching for a quarterback when you had him the whole time the reason they don't want to trade him to another team that plan to start him as a quarterback is because it's going to expose them and Dennis Allen should be gone next year fukkit rid of the GM 2 I'm pretty sure he contributed to the decisions being made when it comes to health in the narrative have been that taysom Hill ain't going to be healthy enough to play the position quarterback meanwhile they put them in a even more injury prone position and he has been more healthy than all of the other quarterbacks how about even with a broken foot they couldn't stop him literally running over Niger with a broken foot in a big old smile just from that alone you can tell if you start him he's going to carry this team to a Super Bowl

I agree with both of you. Personally I think the league office actually controls what each individual team does. If you follow the money that is where it leads you. The sad part of this story is that almost everyone involved is complicit in this and Taysom Hill is the one who pays the ultimate price. Sure he gets paid well enough but at some point it becomes so obvious that it really does begin to wear upon your soul. My only relief is seeing Taysom Hill smile when he is playing football.

Taysom comes in and they didn't have an answer for him. He moves the ball into scoring position, they pull him and Brees gets sacked, and the game is lost. Taysom would have been able to score, they couldn't stop him. Any young QB they let play, the let learn. Look at the jets right now. They let that QB play and he has been struggling. The saints win games with Taysom, he drops one or two has some interceptions and it's, "he can't be the quarterback." I don't get it.

There's a picture from training camp last year of Hill hugging the football with both hands. I said hugging because you can tell he loves the game of football by that familiar smile on his face. I've done the same thing myself before so I recognized what he was doing immediately. Taysom Hill really makes Saints football watchable.

Still a joke that the Saints org didn't commit to Taysom as the QB after Drew Brees. I think he had all the tools to be a good if not great starting QB. People forget that Hurts, Fields, Lamar, etc. etc. all struggled a bit with throwing the ball for the first year or two of their careers starting at QB. Sad that Taysom was never developed around as the full time QB. There's no way in hell that Siemian, Winston, Dalton were better options than Taysom.

That being said, he is injury prone so we need to be careful with his usage. His deep ball could use some work.
