This Vip zone isnt necessarily a bad thing, it does kind of pressure ftp players to start making some transactions (which is kinda smart from kefir on a business viewpoint) and it does give some advantages to paying players which i like, but the good thing is it doesnt stop or hinder ftp players, its like just a lil add on to people who support the game via transactions, and i like that honestly.

As a f2p hardcore grind player I think the main reason that people dislike it is the fear that this is a precedent where future zones will also be restricted to only premium users. I think its totally fine for kefir to focus on getting the money but I hope that in future they will make it a possibility for f2p players to earn their way in - e.g. by watching an x amount of mystery box ads or by fully completing the season ladder it could reward you with a one week VIP pass. But you are totally right that f2p players are not stopped/hindered - we didnt have access to that area anyway lol

I got prestige level in the VIP section. It is soo OP! I I cleared the farm, bunker alpha level 2 and 3 and police department back to back all with the 1 hour infinite durability weapon! You just need to clear all areas and then come back after to collect everything. But you save a ton of weapons!

@@dr.despacito3711 so you don’t use and break armor and don’t use and waste weapon durability so you can use those weapons and armor you stockpiled for more important runs, or when there is a new season with tasks. And Yes you use the infinite durability weapon to get breakable guns, and then use those stronger DPS guns to do more important tasks or when its a more dangerous situation that you need more damage output

Here's what I think. I have mixed opinions about this, and not sure this is what the game needed. It's gonna be a long comment. For positives, some players may buy some stuff, just out of curiosity of the vip zone. Also, heavy spenders get good rewards. Overall, it doesn’t affect the f2p experience. The p2w argument is stupid, because let's be honest, this game has always been p2w, just more prevalent with this new thing. As for negatives, since it has a 7 day duration, to retain vip status, ypu have to make at least one purchase a week. I don't think this is sustainable. And by the end of the month, there will be very few vips. The repair feature, despite being shown in game for years, is now given to p2p players, which is a scummy tactic. There are so many things yet to be added in game(tungsten,helicopter,bunker charlie etc), yet seasons and this kind of stuff are the priority for a quick cashgrab. The game is still in beta ffs. JCF was right about their monetization being about few people spending a lot, than a lot people spending little. I'll be taking a long break once the season is over, kinda burnt out, and I don't think I'm alone in this. Not mad about this update, but the direction they are going is not for me(and also mad about not getting a single purple from the last 2 seasons). Thanks for reading!

For sure. It's a real push to get ftp to start spending. Which....I don't necessarily think is a bad thing. I have no problem with a game incentivizing its player base to support continued development. The only time this goes sour is with mp integration where paying customers have an upper hand in pvp content, making money = power over ftp users. I'm pretty low maintenance I go to work and go home and play my game so a few dollars here and there doesn't kill my bank but if you're getting things on sale plus the VIP bonuses on top of that it's amazing. I got VIP level 10 and when I spend $10 increments I get a day of super VIP which gives me the unlimited ammo gun for one hr storage. I wait till I can grab the gun and clear out all my red areas all within the hour lol

Listen, im soon vip 5 and then my 6 MGL go *BRRRR* but i just wanted to say this... VIP *IS* a grind. You cant get VIP 10 overnight lmao unless you are a whale. Just buy good stuff and only buy one thing every week to keep the VIP active. Even at lvl 1 you have the wheel, the market, the food stall. Use that timer efficiently. If you can burn a bit more cash for the progress cuz u want that repair bench then sure. I did that kinda by buying season lvls for lvl 60+ crates at the end for CBRN sets. Just look out for value and DONT WORRY about the credit card if you are 18+ and got your own, right? ;) ;)

honestly annoying cause my past transactions on ldoe probably totalled to about 100-200 dollars (just guessing) that money didn’t go to waste i don’t regret spending money on ldoe but i could’ve got to a pretty good level if they counted past transactions.

@@Pressingx people need a reality check. This update doesn't harm f2p players, it only helps VIP players and it's a good thing. It's good to see permanent content, eventhough it's for VIP players, but there' a small chance f2p players can access the VIP zone if Kefir makes it a part of a season event. I think people are just disappointed since Kefir tease the zone for YEARS.

@Khoi Vo Right on. I think this implementation was an excellent way for them to provide more value for paying customers. I'm sure this is going to get people to support the game more, and I hope all the extra cash goes into more developments that everyone can enjoy. I'm pretty sure there's some big updates on the way. There was some wording in this update that has me pretty excited. 😮

The scummy part is that the vip thing runs out level 10 costs around 225 bucks and they expect you to keep spending after 225 fucking bucks

You obviasly dont know how it works, once reaching day level 10 and it expires the next purchase you make will turn on vip at the level you left it at ie in this example 10
