I'm very excited for the e-caller. I'm hoping with the new e-caller it will give us opportunity to hunt black bears during the day. That would fix the mountain lion problem maybe? Maybe you can make a great one hunt with the e-caller video, that's something we want to see.

I really like the e-caller. Finally those nice hunting stands in the open world can be used to lure deers and other species and you can properly ambush them from the hunting stand.

I started playing with the 1894 today. It’s 10000000% going into my main load out. I could be wrong, at 306 meters I managed to barely get a double lung with the 1894 on a moose. Which means if I got a good enough shot I’d be able to hit the heart. I used the 7mm and at I believe 311 meters I got one lung and only got into the center of it. The 1894 is definitely already my favorite gun, I don’t have hunt class nines, it has 6 shots, insane penetration, and covers all the classes I hunt, and cheap ammo. Picture perfect gun

The new recurve will definitely be good to learn how use the recurves bein able to throw a sight on to take out a nice animal if your not comfortable with the shot without a sight

Now their are getting it. Even though I say this should have been a thing from the beginning. They are forgetting and missing some things. It does not have all the animals vocals like it says it does while in game in the shop. Like where's bison buffalo and more? Why do the predators only have distress calls? Why is there no Predator mating calls? There are real electronic callers that are capable of doing these things and capable of making sounds of all animals. Technology goes a long way. Hopefully they think about these things do more and add more to it.

One thing i dislike about this game is even if it was a perfect double lungs with heart shot and they drop on seconds its still "unethical" unless its the caliber they assigned to it. Meanwhile you can gut shot something and track them for 5 minutes and its ethical

When are you gonna realize that the reason the aren't buffing the 45-70 or making the original compound bows, 7mm, .338 and 30-06 lighter is because they wanna sell you weapon packs. Ohh look a lever action that has more penetration , more ammo in the mag and is lighter, and watta you know a lighter compound bow. They are seeling you the solution to the problem they create and are refusing to fix in the name of balance and you are cheering them on and buying the packs.

@@jacksonglass3447 Ah the old "you don't have to buy" it if you don't want to but my point was that they aren't fixing the old weapons, witch you presumably already have and payed for since this is a video about a dlc to the game, and just selling you a new weapon with that "fix" for extra money whether it's the weight of the weapon the mag size or the stats of the bullet. So yes you are supporting them with money when they have proven that they don't care about fixing stuff and just care about getting more money out of you. Oh and pls don't say "I don't care" while taking the time to read through comments and actually responding to one. Ppl who don't care don't stop to say that they don't care.

Development costs money they make regular games updates that I largely like so I see no problem with paying the extra money even if there is a cheaper alternative for me by simply wanting the game reworked. Plus I don’t mind the 45-70 as it is and I also like the 44.

@@jacksonglass3447 i never said I disliked the game criticizing something doesn't mean you hate it I said I would like them to fix thing instead of trying sell you the fix, that is just manipulative business practice, if you wanna buy in to that, go ahead. Yes companies need to make money but the way the make it makes all the difference. For example making a new map with new animals, sure buy it, but trying to get the player too buy a weapon that has all the problems fixed that the previous weapon had and not actually fixing the previous weapon is just manipulative. They are showing that they listened to what ppl said and then didn't care too fix it but sell you a new better one. And it's not just the 45-70 that is underpowered so is the 270 then there are compound bows wich weigh 4 and 3,5 and the new one is only 2 and previous stuff like 7mm single shot weighing 4.5 while dlc one is 3.5 and has a 3 bullet mag, the 338 single shot weighing 5 while the dlc one is 5 as well but has a 5 mag, 30-06 4.5 weight while dlc 3 and has a extra bullet in the mag ... need I go on.

I would buy this pack but the e-caller remote control weighs way too much after you place the E-Caller. It defeats the purpose of carrying the thing. Also man COTW is really starting to look dated now in 2023. It’s graphics were amazing when the game came out but dealing with bugs like key bindings being broken for over a year until that last patch really killed my passion for the game. I also really miss the days when gray wolves were more aggressive and would hunt you down, made the game way more interesting because they never hunt you down now.

One per map per player, so solo only 1 for the whole reserve. But in multiplayer up to 8 people can bring one each.

I've always loved the Lever Actions, especially when they didn't get a lot of use by the community. With them being Brush guns, I loved taking them to maps like Hirschfelden, Newv England, Yukon and Rancho to shoot through trees, bushes and tall grass with nearly no issue like other rifles have. I don't know if this new one is also designed to be a brush gun, but even if it's not, I think it will still be my absolute favorite.

@@navigator8222 I'm talking about pine trees and bushes, the ones that will stop or alter arrows and bullets and their trajectory when they come into contact with branches and thick bundles of leaves on branches. Too many times I and others have been in treestands and aimed through openings between branches of pine trees and the thick bushes for what looked like open shots and missed because the foliage got in the way and either slowed them down or changed their direction. But the lever actions are designed to ignore that and power straight through it, as they are in real life, which is the benefit to using them. I'm not talking about tall grass or reeds like in Savannah or by the lakes/ponds in Silver Ridge, or the thick oak trees with trunks and branches that have obvious hit detection.

14:11 that spot your at on missisippi is awesome for doing a drive, i placed a tree stand close to where you collected the pig, fast traveled back to the outpost to the right and drive the quad almost to that location and then fast travel to the tree stand and wait, i killed 14 or 15 animals in one run. Great for making quick cash

I’m using the Modari to hunt moose, getting double lung penetration and finding vital blood at impact point but on trail it’s low bleed and 0% quick kill. Is this how the rifle/ammo is supposed to work? 338 single lung shots kill faster?

Same ammo stats as for the .44 handgun. Same ammo actually, and the handguns are all extremely op. I bet they're goin to nerv the hell out of it sooner or later. 😅

I'm a little disappointed with the recurve. Yes, from a programmer's perspective, it makes sense to simply model your compound instead of writing a new script for primitive bows that allows one of them to use attachments. Of course, something like this can lead to unwanted bugs, so it makes sense. It just ruins a complete primitive bow build because I wanted to use it for low class but low class carbon is 1-2 instead of the wooden version which is 1-3 which doesn't work because middle class wooden arrows are 4-7 and so I don't have anything for class 3 Animals with this set. The caller is nice for the Standard Hunting Buildings which are always surrounded by vegetation except for one side
