How Good is the NEW Discmania MIND BENDER!? // Mind Bender vs. Mako3 // Disc Golf

I bag both, but the Mako3 is champion plastic, and they honestly look, feel and fly very very similarly to me. The shape of the discs are pretty much identical to my eye. However, my Mako3 is 171g and the Mind Bender is 177g, so the weather decides which one I throw. One thing I will mention is that the Mako3, at least in champion plastic, took a little time to beat in to fly the way I expected it to, but the Mind Bender flew as expected pretty much right away. They're both great discs.

I chuckled when you said "I'm trying a new thing where I still look at the basket when its a short throw" as this has totally been my case last couple months! I was pretty rough at first but definitely getting the hang of it. I watched McBeth a lot on those short ones and tried to copy his throwing arm going way out away from his chest. Anyways.. Great vid and gotta love that Mind Bender!!

That mind bender you’re running is same stamp, same plastic color as mine. Neat video! I love the disc, the Fuse is my favorite disc and I could use either interchangeably.

My Mako 3 has a 5 glide. Are there different glide numbers for the same disc?

I kill it with Mako3s. I look for flatter champion ones. If there is any dome/nipple it’s less stable.

I love my Mind Bender. I've parked more upshots with that disc in the short time I've had it than any other.

I have the Halo Mako3 and picked up the Mind Bender when it came out. I now bag the Mind Brender for the same reason you said, it's just feels better in my hand.

Yep, Mind Bender is really fantastic. Has a similar flight to the Fuse but feels much better. It has a spot in my mostly Trilogy bag

just a suggestion, alternate first shot when comparing so the second "correction" shot is evenly split. other than that, good comparison video. I throw a pretty beaten in Atlas that is slowly being replaced with the mind bender, and yeah, it putts great.

Mind Bender is more comfortable in the hand for me. Seems to mold to the hand better than the Mako 3.

The format of comparing your scores with the two discs is unique, so that’s cool, but it would make the video even more helpful if you added some short clips of throwing both discs on the same line out in a field. You could edit it to be about 30 seconds of footage for the three standard release angles, and it would make a huge difference. Thanks for the video!

Same for me. Mind bender goes super straight with a slightly bigger fade at the end. And it’s more glidey at the same time. Love it.

So, let me get this straight. You rethrow the Mind Bender cuz it's the "review" but the shitty shots with the Mako 3 you just let them stand so your scores are skewed? I bag an Origin, Mako 3 and Method. All three for their abilities to hold certain lines.

Why can't people choose as similar plastics when doing these comparisons? Halo star flies way different than champion.. at least in my experience..
