Just subscribed! I bought the Trio of those beautiful Sigma lenses. 16, 30 and the 56mm 1.4 paired to my GH5 and now guess what. I preordered the GH7 😃 because I'm so much in love with those lenses! Like you said in your video the lenses are really sharp, the autofocus works very well even with the GH5 and they perform so good in low light🔥. The perfect lenses. Can't wait to test it on my GH7 soon. Thanks for the video! Your shots and footage looks so good and crisp. The colors are just wow! Great job. I hope I can see some more footage with your GH7. Thanks!

It would be nice if you can make a comparison video between the s5ii or a GH5 and the GH7 when filming a talking head video or just a close up video with both cameras and crop in 2 times, to see the difference which camera handles skin texture better. Which camera has better details rendering. I would very appreciate that because nobody else have done this test yet. It would make taking my decision much easier, if I'm going to upgrade to an S5ii or the GH7. Thanks

I’m not gonna lie they would be VERY similar, the sensor is calibrated to be very close to likeness. But you do also have 12bit raw on the gh7 which I find is much kinder to skin tones

I have and love the tiny Lumix 42.5mmF1.7 which I vaguely recall has closer focus. I've noticed some really good deals on that Zuiko F1.8 from Japan, lately, though.

always loved the sigma 16mm f1.4 but i found myself moving away from it since i stopped using the gh5. still on my shelf though- i'll bust it out here soon

Dude I loved that send, but I honestly hated using it for MFT cause of the lack of lens compression compared to the other two. It was great for the field of view, but not the best for isolation. And it was just big for what it was

Such a nice picture from that lens! Could you please record the video how is the autofocus working on gh7 with this lens. I'm using 25mm mitakon, which is 50 mm on a full frame but the fastest of my lens collection, love it a lot, but its a manual, so looking something with autofocus. Thanks!

On the s5ii you would be limited to crop mode, but in theory you will get some more shallow depth of field have a lower crop than the MFT cams

@@Ansonandco Yeah, that's why I wondered -- I think that 30mm and the 16mm and 56mm are the only overlapping lenses between L-mount and m4/3. I have the old TL2 so I keep track!

Really nice lens, but focus-by-wire is the bane of existence for anyone wanting to do precise manual focus. I'd suggest speedboosting Sigma Art Canon EF lenses... They have true manual focus while also giving extra stop of light (f1.4 becomes f1.0!)... I'm curious to see how well speedboosted lenses works with the GH7

@@scamp_media I only have a gh6 so I can't speak to the new phase detect af, but I use a sigma art 30mm 1.4 and it works well.. I can even set focus transition points with it for automated focus racks and it works.. though I would be a bit concerned about focus motors wearing out quicker since having true manual focus seems to cause more wear and tear

@@joeXjoeX Okay, nice one for the comment. I actually have a lumix art 18-35 that I don't use very often - I'm too wedded to my cannon 24-105mm! But great to hear it works well, more and more Im inclined to get the GH7 and putting off a big swap in systems for a few years.

I may try the 18-35 on the gh7 once people show interest in gh7 videos again hahaha cause yeah the MF experience would be way better
