as far as i'm aware that's not how the jokers work, they calculate based on the position of the jokers when they were played

I was not aware of the fact that moving your jokers while scoring the end changes the way the after hand scoring works (So in this case by moving the mime over to be copied by brainstorm)

Ectoplasm is so good! It lets you add an extra joker which could be anything! Even extra hand size! (ectoplasm for juggler later lol)

you cannot make a joker with foil, holo, or polychrome negative, so if you hit the wheel (if it works L rng) you efficiently cannot make that joker negative

I guess spoiler up to like 50 minutes? At the 3 rounds around 47-50 min, the reason baron being copied was so much better is that when he got e25 he had essentially 3+1 barons (+1 from steel) and 2+1 mimes (+1 from red seals), so think of it like this: 4x3=12 While the next round he had 1+1 baron and 4+1 mimes... which 2x5=10 So naturally 3 barons (1 baron with copy) + steel + 2 mimes + red seals are better since its more balanced between them Tho when he tried brainstorming baron while blueprinting a mime, it became 3x4=12 which by counting steel at the same level as baron means it should be equally strong, but for some reason it wasn't, so I think for some reason steel isnt really counted along this? Dunno about that exactly

Can you copy Juggler with Brainstorm/Blueprint? Would it have been possible to copy Juggler for the extra hand size while discarding, then switch to copying Baron before playing the hand?

When you have a mime and a baron, isn't it better to brainstorm the mime instesd of the baron because of the steel?

I though so too, then i counted. If u copy baron, u have 6 x 1,5X from baron effect, 3 x 1,5x from red seal and 2 x 1,5x from steel for each red sealed steel king which is 1,5x 11 times. But when u copy mime, u only get 4 baron's 1,5x, 1 red seal's 1,5x and 4 steel card's 1,5x, which is 9. Big difference

It's more score copying baron, then he swaps the mine before the hand has played out so the mime will be copied for the post-score phase and double the amount of gold card procs he is getting

btw everything you do can change seed rng. If you have all 4 queens in hand for instance, and you play 3 of a kind leaving the spade, you get X Joker from a pack. Whereas if you play 3 of a kind leaving the Heart, you get Y joker.

@@jem5636 Yeah, sure, something in ante 1 might not affect ante 7, but cards played does affect it. I saw it on video of someone specifically min-maxing a single seed. I think in that video the exact case he needed to play a specific queen in order to get a specific item in the first shop.

17:40 at this point I'd have death'd the 9 of hearts into the Steel Queen. Fishing for Strength ain't that reliable, better to have two of the queen in the deck to (almost) double your odds of hitting her off an arcana pack.

I just got a green joker to 183 unseeded while playing through my decks and stakes, I was at purple stake magic deck and I was caught between ramping him and winning.. Do you want the seed? I feel like played the right way that green man could be a record but it is exhausting 😂

I think it's bad, mostly for economy reasons. I'd put it at a similar power level as red card. You spend too much money to get it going and then you still need other stuff anyway

Yeah I don't get it, seems like it needs to be reworked/buffed. For what it does surely some kind of X mult would be more appropriate? It adds a couple points of plus mult at a time while requiring you to spend money and waste joker slots to get there, seems horribly underpowered for the reward

I'm assuming you're referring to 57:26, the 3rd card in the shop, its not a blueprint. That card was a Foil Astronomer Joker not Blueprint. He didn't have showman so a second blueprint showing up wasn't possible.

Yorick's xmult scaling is good, but it pales in comparison to getting another mine or baron or even more hand size. Let's consider having mime + baron and a brainstorm copying the baron. With red seal steel kings, that is (1.5^9)x per king in hand. That equates to 38x per king you keep in your hand, which blows Yorick out of the water sadly. This gets even crazier the more you get Mimes/Barons/BP/BS
