As a Athletico Paranaense fan, we really put him in a position to be the classic ''centro avante'' but if you see him playing at a bit younger age in Cruzeiro you will see a Roque much more ''lighter'' and with more dribbling capacities. I don't like to say it but I really think that he can be a lot more versatile but we didn't explore that for him playing here, I really think that he has a lot more in his sleeve.

Thanks for this analysis of Roque. He is very raw and isn't the traditional Barca forward, however currently we don't have a complete and traditional Barca side. We need a different profile. I think we need his work rate, directness, explosiveness, and fox-in-a-box poaching. Maybe with time, he rounds out his game to improve his link-up play, his long passing, and refine his dribbling.

You said that Roque barely uses long passes, because he has few long passes per 90. However, his average pass length is pretty much in line with the top 4 in the category. This suggests that it’s how few passes he makes overall per 90 (10 p/90) that is lowering his long p/90 stat. Players like Mbappe, Jesus, and Lewandowski are making 25-36 passes per 90 on average. If Roque kept the same rate of long passes but had 25-36 p/90, he would be making .7-1.05 long passes/90. That’s in line with the rest of the players shown in the list. The real number of note is how poor the completion is
