I grew up learning Italian before the time of Google translate; I carried a pocket dictionary with me and learned the grammar tenses in English first and then correlated how to structure those meanings and intent concepts in Italian. This strategy allowed me to have a solid foundation and while building vocabulary over time. I was a terrible first speaker but used to watch Il Postino and La Vita è Dolce and a few other Benigni flicks until I started to become a more advanced speaker, but it all started with an kid who was just willing to make mistakes.

This is such a beautiful message and I really love your strategy. Often times, the simpler the better. Even though nowadays we are lucky to have so many free resources that we can access anytime, in the end it all comes down to simplifying the process and putting in the hard work. The first thing I always do when I learn a language is buying a verb book. Watching a movie then gives me the vocabulary that I need. With these two things, I am already capable of making my first sentences. Thank you for sharing your message and strategy.

Sono molto felice che il video ti sia piaciuto! grazie! 😍 Capisco bene la dipendenza dai sottotitoli, sono sempre molto utili, ma allo stesso tempo, a volte, è necessario praticare senza usarli per fare uno sforzo in più e cercare di capire quello che viene detto, mettendoci alla prova, come hai correttamente detto tu! Adesso io e Susan abbiamo un'ospite in casa, Ellen. Le piace il caffè. Ogni mattina Susan ed Ellen preparano grandi tazze di cappuccino con la nostra macchina Nespresso. I fumi tossici emessi dai fanghi neri nelle tazze sono ora due volte più forti. Mi brucia gli occhi, mi fa male il naso e mi fa soffocare. Come puoi bere quella bevanda?@@FrancescaDePaolis 🤣🤑😜

Hai assolutamente ragione. Gli argomenti che hai menzionato sono sicuramente tra i più difficili. Ma sono sicura che riuscirai a padroneggiarli. I miei studenti all'inizio sono un po' scettici quando vedono la difficoltà di questi argomenti e alla fine, dopo qualche settimana, riescono ad usarli senza problemi. Sono sicura che ci riuscirai anche tu. Continua così! 💪🏻
