@@SmittyCity15 Yeah, why wouldn't I be? We were predicted to be one of the worst teams in the league this year. We lost our starter but still played hard up to the very last minute of the season. The Colts were minutes away from making the playoffs. The rebuild was ahead of schedule and the team will have a healthy AR next season who will help elevate them even more.

As a Gator I'm going to miss his explosive plays but excited to see what he can do at the next level once he grows, however right now he needs a solid mental coach as I think this has gotten in his way a few times.

Clutch drives was awesome but when he wasn't actually getting pressure he got picked off cause he was so used to pressure 😭 felt bad but AR can learn NFL defenses fast by using his legs and adjustments with steichen. @@cback3333 They "literally" said ALL of that. Or were you only listening to former athletes and not people who actually watch game tape beyond highlight reels. All the praise of him was based on things he received from God - not things like accuracy, being able to make all the throws, etc. Things that you actually have to learn. To be fair, though, the top touts do seem to believe that he does a solid job of going through his reads before he either takes off running or misses an open receiver 12 yards downfield. Take care.

@@Thatbul all those guys had success in college. For crying out loud Jalen hurts put up 5100 yards and 53 total tds his senior season. Richardson had 26 tds. He has not proven the same potential as those other guys. People just want him to be those guys because he can run. If you’re gonna be drafted that high you should at least have proved something in college

Considering guys like Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Mitch Trubisky were drafted higher than Richardson with less athletic talent, I'd say his draft spot was fine. People also forget Cam Newton only played one full year as a starter in the SEC and had a lot of character questions off-field before he was drafted.

I saw all of Richardson's home games last year for the Gators. On his day he is unlike any QB I've ever seen. However he's too inconsistent to be a first round pick as there were just as many games he was more of a liability than an asset. This really is a wild card pick.

@A.J. Hart I agree that Richardson is definitely a project QB and will have to put in the work to reach his ceiling. His physical and athletic traits are off the charts, though, which is an excellent start. For the original poster to definitively state that "he won't do well his first two years in the league" is a bit premature. Also, Peyton Manning had about as good of a turnaround as a young QB could have between year 1 and year 2, so I disagree that Manning didn't do well in his sophomore NFL campaign.
