How GOOD Was 2020 Montverde Actually?

I’m sure we’ve ALL heard the debate by now… 2016 Chino Hills or 2020 Montverde…
Which team is better? If they played each other, who’s winning?
After covering Chino Hills in a previous video, here's the ladder part of the argument… 2020 Montverde.

2020 Montverde has the talent edge. So I'll take them over Chino Hills, but I think it's right down to the wire. That's no knock to how great 2016 Chino Hills was though. Their "run and gun" playstyle was unstoppable and teams had no answers...

I honestly don't know who would win between 2016 Chino Hills or 2020 Montverde, but one thing i prefered about Chino Hills is that there was no recruiting whatsoever, simply raw basketball talent. The fact that 3 brothers were in the starting 5 was pretty insane too, i'll never forget Lamelo being 5'10" and yet still having an impact on games against top schools.

2024 Montervede Squad would give them fits. Cooper Flagg Asa Newell Are dominant two way players. Ill take Derik Queen inside scoring over Sharpe. Liam McNealy Sniper and is 6'7 Robert Wright top 25 PG Just like that 2020 team they have some nice underclassmen as well.

I was just thinking this, ppl are gonna argue that this 2024 team wasn’t beating teams by as much as the 2020 team was but I think they are playing better competition.

2024 takes it for sure … First off they are 32-0 … second off Cooper and Asa are giving them buckets along with Liam which is the best shooter I’ve seen since 2020

The most outstanding thing you didn't mention was the incredible team defense of the 2020 Montverde team. Having attended thousands of college and high school games in my 70+ years, they are the best total team I've witnessed.
