I honestly felt like the season was pretty good. The main thing that I didn't like was that the story was really lackluster. For example, the peely quests. Peely getting kidnapped had lots of potential for a good storyline, but they tried to end that with a loading screen. I am happy that this season is finally continuing that and hopefully giving it a satisfying ending.

I had a lot of issues with Chapter 5 Season 1. First, was the absolutely horrid live event that so many people unfortunately missed because of Epic's mismanagement & the lack lusterness that was the Fortnite Winterfest into a loooong time Winter break right when they introduced 3 new game modes which were in heavy need of support at the time, especially Lego Fortnite with how barren the content was. Most of my friends finished getting their village to lvl 10 & collecting all the materials in just 2-3 days. There is no bossfights, there's no end goal, just Nothing Lego Fortnite has to offer over games such as Minecraft or Palworld, which is why the latter took the world by storm. 6:16 Ironic you said that considering the NPC there sells the Grapple Blade one of the only two mobility items offered at the time, and pretty much EVERYONE was landing there if they wanted a guaranteed Grapple Blade, and it leads directly to a Mini Vault & Lavish Lair for the Oscar medal so it's hardly a waste of space with how easy it was to 3rd party everyone who landed at Lavish Lair. This seasons BR had a lot of issues. Mod benches being only at Boss locations, and only having SIX benches to choose from meaning you were forced to go to these overly populated locations with the most sweatiest of people and HOPE that no one was camping those bosses heh good luck with that. The game was a laggy buggy mess because of the transition to Realistic graphics, the Ballistic shield was way too op for what it had to offer (shot 2 whole loads into it & it still wouldn't budge), & the end games just amounted to whoever had the most medallions/Golden Gun/Golden Auto Frenzy 14:40 Funny you mention that as literally everyone was running around with the same guns, Frenzy Auto, Reaper Sniper Rifle, & the Ballistic Shield. Couldn't be anything farther from unique, as it just became a battle of who has the better rarity/got the chance to mod their gun. 14:46 This season lasted a whole 97 days, by the time everyone finished the battle pass a lot of people didn't want to do TMNT as it came WAY too late into the season and at that point the burnout was kicking in, at least 40 days into the same exact unchanged Season since Epic was on their Winter Break. Very lackluster minipass if all you wanted to get was the Shredder. Altho all that being said, I do prefer this Season over Season 2, which is absolutely busted & unfun for a lot of casual players. From the dashes, to airbending & waterbending from 50 meters away, and being forced into 1v1 situations that you won't have enough resources for each scenario.

cool, personally the mod benches being rare I do agree with you were kinda dumb, but honestly you never had to "drop" at the spots but rather just wait for ppl to be done looting there and rotating in later ballistic shield did get nerfed, Striker AR was op and honestly just spray at the shield. Not even that many people honestly used the shield, the pistol didn't really do that much damage and it felt scarce to find. If the game was a laggy buggy mess, turn ur graphics to preformance mode 👍 Another thing about the ballistic shield is that in my opinion It was extremely easy to counter, as most of time you can either spray them or simply just go behind them. One thing I don't really agree that you said is that, "It just became a battle of who got the better rarity or chance to mod their gun" I feel like fortnite has always been like this, since chapter 2 season 2, getting the mythics and the golden guns is just how the game works and how the plays result. That's really how it's been for forever. Modding weapons usually you just had to rotate at the place after waiting for a bit. Or you can just get good mods off of a gun that you get from a chest, which usually you would get ok or good attachments. If you don't like them you can always grab another gun. Btw, I was an elite player that whole season and idk about you but I only ran into vault campers in like silver games, other than that I rarely come across them (also, you can just toss cluster clingers) The point about whoever gets the most medallions is somewhat true but unless ur just camping u can kill people 4 their medallion. It never really was that strong, as they capped the shield to basically just a slow half pot. You had to have ALL FIVE of them for it to actually be good, and by then it would be probably late end game. I do agree about Frenzys being overpowered, I hate them as much as you do 💀 But yeah these are what I think about ur comment, I agree with most of ur points.

I really liked the bosses this season and there mythics but the only mythic I really like is the gatekeeper, and the Zeus boss takes WAY too long too kill for no reason, personally I miss the old pois everyone would drop at like fencing and snooty but now everyone just lands at Olympus, the battle ground, grim gate, and the underworld

Imo not much content as this season but yeah it was good just wish the weapons reloaded faster. This season is good although not as much bosses but they did make it seem as if it was a “boss”.

too me this chapter feels like if you don’t land the boss spots you can’t land anywhere. all the locations feel so small. for example lavish lair wouldn’t even have a name on the chapter 1 it would be like supervillain mansion same goes for pleasant plaza. all the pois feel the same and there is no places you can actually land and enjoy like retail row, tilted or salty like in chapter 2 with the bosses people still spread out through the map but now everyone lands the same places it all a fight for the medals as the locations are so bad none of them are worth it except for them ones which already suck but they’re only good as they have the medals

I actually really enjoyed this season (the memories). Me and my cousin played ranked everyday and it was super fun but season 2 is so bad that we don’t even play anymore.

Whats so bad about season 2? I think season 2 is as of now a top 10 maybe even 5 season. i love the new mythics (especiqally the chains) the avatar mythics are fun, Olympus and Underworld are some of the best pois ever. just curious why you dont like season 2?

@@KingWafflezz We don’t like it because it’s just boring and since they took out the chains of hades (my main weapon that I had a technique to get kills and carry) is gone and we just die in ranked and get off. And the new poi’s are too sweaty so we just rotate between restored reels and pleasant plaza which gets boring but the other ones aren’t good either. I miss Oscar the tiger and his mythic shotgun and I like the new shotgun but my duo never wants to land at grim gate which makes our games boring.

This is my first seasons that i actually playing fortnite and i say the only good thing about this is probably the batte pass because there is 4 good skin in here which is 2 baddies skin(valeria and hope) and 2 funny skin (peter griffin and solid snake)

I do think that this season really came together towards the end. Some seasons start off and you sit down to play and you come away thinking, "what the hell was that?", after your first session. I feel like a lot of people make their decision about a season at the start and then never amend it as more updates hit. I feel like Epic did a good job of unvaulting items that addressed issues people had with the gameplay of the season. Even the Christmas update was fun even if there was no cabin. The loot island changing form after never doing that in chapter 4 was a welcome surprise. I wish that had carried over to the current season :(

In movement you forget to mention the walking/running animation and movement speed changes. The map was lacking for me, I didn't like the type of European styles used and a lot of the points of interest felt too similar. The reaper sniper was so annoying to deal with I probably got one tapped the most last season, weirdly enough in season 2 it isn't as bad since it got nerfed and is more rare.

I don't understand why they took the wings and lightning bolts out of the game to add waterbending and then after the event keep waterbending and add them back together lol

Yea I don't get it either. I'm assuming it would just be too complex with all that in the game at once. Waterbending has to stay for the korra quests, so they won't remove the Greek items because of it. With air, fire, and earth bending, they probably thought it was too much.

This season was dope hands down. Everything was smooth and fresh and i love the graphics. Its real but cartoony in a way. The movement animation is smooth and fits right. The old movement was ok but if you compare the old movement to it the new movement is better. I love how fortnite evolves and i love to adapt.

It looks like ch5 might be one of my favorite chapters and here is why I loved ch5 s1 I love this season I just need to find time to play BR more The leaked roadmap for 2024 shows the next 3 seasons ch5 s3, ch5 s4, and the next OG season ch5 s3 is going to be Apocalyptic themed and it seems like it will be really cool Ch5 s4 is going to be another Marvel season that will be really cool and most likely really fun just like the last Marvel season The next OG season is going to be ch2 OG and the season will be really fun for me because we are going back to ch2 s2 finally along with hopefully more of my favorite ch2 seasons The 2024 roadmap seems to be true and that makes me so happy because I want another's Marvel season and ch2 OG and for Lego Fortnite the Lego Star Wars update should bring me to Lego Fortnite I played Lego Fortnite before but I'm pretty sure it was only once but the Lego Star Wars update will most likely bring me to Lego Fortnite because I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and the fact that we are getting a Lego Star Destroyer hovering over most likely a new sand biome most likely being Tatooine along with speederbikes most likely and hopefully as vehicles and Lightsabers and Tie Fighters hopefully being vehicles all added to Lego Fortnite this update looks like it will be big for Lego Fortnite but we have to see if the roadmap is really true right now I'm saying it's true as Billie Elish is coming Tuesday as the next Festival artist most likely because the Festival season 3 teaser shows a green color scheme and Billie Elish is either always seen wearing green or her favorite color is green and Lego Fortnite's next update has been teased the past few days and and it seems like the update for Lego Fortnite for April on the roadmap is the same update for April we are getting on Tuesday so I'm saying the roadmap is true
