I've been everywhere out of boredom, it's fun to just drop somewhere random and love it, the 'Toph mountains' are big for me rn since it has at most 2 bendings, launch pads, a house with a really great NPC and even weapon cases. It's fun to just find somewhere random and do 6 games landing there try it.

Three other spots that I commonly love to land at. the weather station in the mountains northeast of classy court, it has 5 slurp/slap barrels and a vault so you’re basically always guaranteed at least coming out in decent shape and even if it’s later in the game I find that many people forget that there are two guaranteed chests in the two towers so you can just 2001 those two bad boys if you’re desperate for healing or something, there are also multiple dirt bike (and a single armored car) that are almost guaranteed to spawn, and from there you can choose to go south to the old underground base if you want some more loot or west to classy courts if you feel like fighting someone. Next up is the cool research base located directly under the “D” of brawler’s battleground. this place has an almost comical amount of chests, and a good few slurp/slap barrels, although apart from that it has basically nothing, currently during the avatar event it has the excellent benefit of being right next to an air shrine so you can reposition to basically anywhere else on the map once you’re done looting but apart from that the only other worthwhile thing is it’s good position in relation to either mount olympus or brawler’s battleground which makes it a great position if you feel like ruining someone’s day by third partying someone trying to beat either boss. And lastly is the airport(?) on the beach west of snooty steppes, this is absolutely a gimmick location. There’s barely enough chests for a single person but that’s not important in the slightest, the entire point of this place is actually its guaranteed vehicle spawn, this is important due to its relatively good position to multiple other good places. You’re around 10 seconds away from snooty steppes or 20-25 seconds from pleasant plaza, and plenty other minor locations too. This is important since it means that you can use this location as basically a near full proof safe way to effectively land at any surrounding points of interest and use the weapons you get to more consistently be able to gauge if you’re gonna be able to stand a chance against others without having the risk of dying due to getting bad starting loot or someone stealing your weapons.

I mostly drop at grim gate, it usually outshines other places due to it having a medallion and also having the green water ( I think it’s called something related to Styx idk). But I mostly drop there due to the abundance of those golden chests that drop decent loot.

I usually land towards the edges of the island, most of which you've covered here. I especially like landing at the little 4-story "castle" up north. So much, that I now call it "my house". Not many other players land there and there's decent starting loot to be taken (and a safe). Plus it's close to 2 mini vaults, one at Lavish Lair and another down the road to the west (plus a bunker). Not to mention that you can get to a train station via zip-line going southeast.

I like a lot of these locations, the fishing spots are some of my favorites to relax for a few minutes and collect some quick loot. As far as the Manor goes, I think the mess and strewn apart items are evidence this is where someone is hiding out, at least for now. There are a few theories I can see being plausible for who's hiding out here: Slone has been hinted a few times this season, and given the artifacts from Chapter 4, the last time she's been seen, it's possible she experimented after sending Jones with a few artifacts (such as the ones present in the Manor) before sending herself to Chapter 5 (or I guess Chapter 2 in the timeline). Why she would have so many random things strewn around could be that she's doing research before making herself known, but given a lot if it looks to be board games or other 2+ player activities I could see this being what Jones is doing this season, either hiding out here alone or with Slone after finding her. Valeria is a bit of a safer answer, we don't know where she is other than that she's probably alive and is being hidden by Hope from the Gods. This Manor works as a pretty good safehouse, and would work with the artifacts as something Valeria is interested in like she was with Pandora's Box. The other stuff strewn around like the books and boardgames could be evidence of Hope coming around to check up on her or some of the members of the Society also hiding out with her. Though the safest and most probable answer is Jones. He's still alive for sure, but we have no idea what he's up to or where he is. Hope doesn't provide much about him, but the Manor feels like a good spot for him to hang out for now. The main reason he feels like the safest pick is the stuff lying around. There's board games, trinkets from past seasons he's familiar with, and a ton of other goofy stuff that feels like something he would do or have. Why is there a bathtub on the balcony? Why does a manor need or have a haphazardly built bowling alley? It's not exactly the most obvious place Jones would stay at and their aren't too many pieces of evidence that make it clearly where Jones is, but I think it fits pretty well. I'd be happy with anyone being there though, I like how lived-in the place feels and would be pretty bummed if it ends up just a random place with references to last Chapter.

Love these kinds of videos! I'm more of a casual player so I enjoy landing at out of the way and interesting locations. These are some of my faves. I would love to see you do more of these as the map changes throughout the course of the chapter! Also I don't pay much attention to the lore but this video made me want to pay more attention. Very cool.

For me my favorite landmark in the whole series is definitely Camp Cod, it was on the left most side of the chapter 2 map and it was great, very out of the way, big enough for 4 players to land and get good loot and it was interesting. I can probably count the times I’ve fought people there on one hand (outside of final circles). And it was never drastically changed it was great, and I can’t wait to revisit it later this year for Chapter 2 OG

Honestly I love landing at locations that don't get many players (save for the bots). My playstyle is to land at one of those areas, gear up, then work my way into the battlefield. Breezy Coast and coastlines in general, The various barges, Cloistered Castle, and even Snooty Steps have come in clutch for me multiple times.

ahh reminds of the good ol yonder yard. But yeah Ive never felt this way until the last few seaons idk what they did but the map does feel way too big for unranked because half or more of the people are bots so you barely run into anyone the entire midgame and sometimes even the start especially when you lack a mobility you aint finding anyone until the end. They either need to make the map smaller or significantly reduce the amount of bots or make them actually be able to damage players idk but something needs to change. If you land at an unpopular spot, more often than not there will only be a bot or two landing with you then you wont see anyone until endgame 15mins later lol

Cool theory about Kado, I've landed at Cloistered Castle a lot of times and never really seen the references to Chapter 4, except the bowling alley and the gong. Also, in recent updates, they've added the Charon NPC there with his story being he's retiring from being the ferryman who takes the dead to the Underworld. Maybe Charon and Kado are being roomates lol

As someone who just got back into Fortnite since the first chapter, I found the island with the windmills a perfect place to land. However as I have gotten much better I find it takes so much longer to get to a fight unless someone lands there with me. It got too monotonous trying to travel back to civilization and was a waste when I finally got there and died immediately.

Breezy coast has been my go-to ranked and ranked cups landing spot. I’m not very competitive but I like to have the free rewards, landing there guarantees 100 shield and sometimes someone else to fight, so you get good points out of that place :>
