As a long time Wade fan, his injuries brought me a lot of frustration but it never changed my mind of how brilliant this guys game was. When he’s ready and completely focused, he is unstoppable on both ends of the floor. His skill level and overall IQ is unmatched. Wade is patient, calm and relaxed. Even with Lebron on the Heat, the fans wanted Wade to still do his clutch thing to save the day. Lebron was never better than DWade, that’s why he shrank like that in the 2011 finals. Prime Wade was like the hybrid version of Allen Iverson and Michael Jordan. As insane as it sounds, the only comparison when it comes to Wade’s level of body control and cat like quickness is MJ. Stylistically to me, he played the closest to what I think MJ would’ve looked like in the 2000s. Kobe looked like he learned his moves from MJ, whereas Wade looked like Jordan-like naturally. All respect to Mamba tho, who was overall better, but peak for peak it’s extremely closer than people think.

Wade had a different set of skills than the superstars today.. a 2 way player, pure mid range, natural passer and unstoppable when he drove.. to put it in perspective.. no one today is nearly close to prime Wade, all around skill wise and IQ..

Wasn't a heat fan, but I loved watching Wade play. Often overlooked by Kobe and mj for best SGs

Man I’m 26 year olds right now born and raised in Miami, I grew up watching every Miami heat game from 8 years old, my freshman thru senior year high school were our 4 Lebron years..this video brought back soo many memories! Miami dade county will forever be Wade county

If it weren’t for his knee giving up on him, he’d go down as one of the greatest NBA players of all-time, up there with Shaq, Kobe and Duncan
@AN4RCHY2_23 ай бұрын
Ok you cant go that far,he still would only be in the top 15-10 not top 5-1 but being in the top 15 all time is still a great feat to achieve

Such an underrated legend. Everyone always says Jordan is a mix of Kobe and LeBron, but I always thought Jordan was more like a mix of Kobe and Wade.

I feel you, he is like Kobe and Jordan but still did his own style.

What people need to understand about Wade is he is shorter than most SGs and had only one knee his entire career.... If only he didn't have LeBron or Kobe in his era... he'd have way more accolades which might've actually justified his quality of play

3rd greatest shooting guard in NBA history and had a better career than Paul Pierce. He was the reason why I became a Heat fan and he is still my favorite player of all time.

Not bad but I take Peirce. 6'6 3 point champ. Shoot anywhere

@@TNMUSlC wade >>>> pierce no discussion
@junit75902 жыл бұрын
@@JackSaiyanXI well there is some discussion, Wade was a better on ball defender, and more dynamic laterally and stopping and going a bit like kyrie, but Pierce was extremely clutch, a much better shooter, and bigger and bulkier. It's actually pretty close
@JackSaiyanXI2 жыл бұрын
@@junit7590 not at all pierce is nowhere near on wade's level. Comparing them is the same as comparing kobe to carmelo, both great in their own right but one is obviously the better player. 13 allstars to 10, 8 all nba to 4, 3 all defensive to 0, 1 scoring champ to 0, 3 rings to 1. It's really a no brainer here and height is irrelevant in any argument. This started out as a joke made by pp and some seem to be buying it (mostly celtics fans) but it's simply not true like I said there isn't a discussion to be had

I tell you what they better be glad that he didn't have a 3-point shot and he didn't stay healthy cuz we could be looking at the second best shooting guard of all time cuz he was better in any other area

Few players deliver such excitement.... Yes lots of more skilled and talented players, but the excitement, fun and thrills? I'm sticking with #3, the Flash!

Wade is one of the most skilled players of all time. He could do anything on the court exceptionally except shoot the 3 which he was slightly below average in his prime. If he had a shot the man would be the most unguardable all times besides shaq
