But srsly, i always thought Garbodor was actually cool and smart in design purely because of what it was based on. And also having a Move that's basically your Siganture spread across many Pokemon is kinda cool since you can tell this is kind of related to Garbodor in a sense, just imagine if Gunk Shot was ACTUALLY Garbs signature move, as a Poison Type, especially physically it would stand out. And it would also mean a lot of Pokemon would have to either rely on Poison Jab or just not run any Poison move at all and slot in something different. Would've made Garbodor even more special than it somewhat is. It honestly deserves a Mega or just a regula evolution or maybe simple stat changes to HP, Defense and Attack because i feel its Speed is actually fine and if it is a little bulkier it'll truly be a Tanky Hard Hitter with Stuff like Toxic Plate or Life Orb. Just my 2 Cents tho

Update: as of December 2021, Garbodor has RETURNED to NU as its most prominent spiker, with newfound access to Corrosive Gas giving it an option for item removal, which in the Boots Meta of SS is a godsend. It has an easy time setting up spikes against several giant metagame threats, notably Toxicroak, Sylveon, and defensive variants of Guzzlord. Even with the prevalent spikes immune defoggers (such as Talonflame, Rotom-C, and his eternal foe Xatu) and stronger powercrept wallbreakers (such as Copperajah and Tyrantrum), Garbodor is the same as he ever was, setting up spikes in NU, power creep be damned, and appears to be doing such for the foreseeable future

Hard agree with this. Unova is based on NYC (New York City), which is rather infamous for its garbage cans and trash being laid out on sidewalks since the city lacks alleyways, which causes all sorts of sanitary problems. So it makes sense that a trash-bag Pokémon can exist within that themed region. Honestly, the Garbodor line is one GF’s most spot on designs from a thematic standpoint.

A lot of people talked trash about gen 5 designs and praised gen 1 designs while they were running around with literal sludge piles, balls that turned upside down when they evolved and you thought vanilluxe was the only one like it? Dugtrio, Dodrio and Magneton did it first. EVERY gen had bad designs. Every gen had good designs. Gen 5 got way too much hate for just a few pokemon. Let's remember the beasts like Samurott, Excadrill, Zoroark and Haxorus. At least those were my favs. What were your gen 5 favorites?

It is somewhat niche I guess but I agree that this channel is as good as it gets when it comes to quality of content. It's extremely informative, very entertaining and virtually free of clickbait (you can argue that the titles of the very oldest videos are kinda "baity" but that was then, this is now :p). Oh wow an actual video Sad to see it fall from grace after so long ouch. That said it has potential for improvement surprisingly its BST (474) is substantially lower than its counterparts Weezing(490) and Muk(500) So if need be a stat buff could be on the table perhaps make it either faster or hit harder? Or stick 20 points into attack and the last 4 to parity into HP? HP is always good. If up to me I'd also convert the Gmax forms into inspiration for a mega type form. (To match things up both Weezing would get +10 Special Attack for a 3 way split of 500 total) With how trash particularly unbiodegradable plastics, pollution are so ubiquitous it seems a quite fitting addition to the poison pollutant trio it never made sense why it got so much hate... Personally I always preferred Weezing design wise (G-Weezing is hideous with that absurdly unwieldly smokestack. The moment of inertia of that thing is completely unstable) Perhaps it could get its own alt form of its own based on say Ewaste? Poison/Steel?
