Even if he would've gotten lucky, he would've still gotten to this point cause athleticism fades, skill doesn't. That's the difference between all-time greats and MVP-level players...Work ethic. Both LeBron AND Dwight worked with Hakeem on their post games. LeBron managed to get better on offense, have more tools to use for when he might not be able to dunk on everyone. What did Dwight do with the training that Hakeem offered? Nothing...Absolutely nothing...He trained with Hakeem and came back with 0 improvement in his post-game. This was back when Dwight was in his prime. Same with LeBron.

As a long time fan knowing his many flaws it was hurting seeing him going down so bad and so quick. On one hand he had his back surgery and for someone playing with so much contact that really screwed him up heavily, but Dwight also had too much trouble adapting and made alot of stupid decisions during his peak. He was no perfect, but prime Howard in Orlando was so fun to watch. Absolute freak of nature. Even to this day at this age he sometimes does amazing stuff with ease, it is almost that you expect him to do so. I am really happy he got the ring and really happy he matured in his downfall. He was a beast in Orlando and made it to the finals without any other allstars! If he only had a point guard that is very reliable back then they might have won the finals. Turkelu was pretty good back then. Miss the old dwight!

Hey, Andy! My name is Pedro. I'm from Brazil! I watch all your videos!! I would love to see you making series in which elect the top players of each position. Simply putting your personal opinion. That would be incredible! Thanks for the videos!

And this is the reason Dwight's a hall of famer, it's so annoying and dumb when people say he won't be in the hall of fame. They don't know his prime and how dominant he was in Orlando

The same they said about Shaq; that's why I always found it funny when people say Shaq never worked on his FT's. They like to think they have the answer to everything even though they were never there, but it was said Shaq would make his FT's in practice and that he was recorded as making 89 out of 100, but for whatever reason, in the actual games, he developed the yips.
