Based on your favorite players, you are probably too young and you've probably just started Dota in 2014~2015 . You kids missed out on prime Mushi. He was the Miracle before Miracle. Miracle is obviously better, but Mushi is right up there along with Iceiceice. You just never got to see their prime. I would remove MidOne and replace him with Nisha.

Man, I was 15 when Liquid won TI7, it was crazy seeing GH win an International. It was such a proud moment for us Lebanese DotA gamers, this video gave me such a nostalgia trip. To this day, I got back into dota this month, and I am still playing GH's heroes, Earthshaker, Rubick, and IO.

@@pahlevymu GH was the biggest reason of their win, and possibly the main factor why liquid easily swept all their lower bracket matches. jerax in TI8, saksa in TI11 were also the strongest individual for their team there (despite they were the impactful supports that actually assisted their cores to shine), but GH was on another level. most of the recent TI wins have been due to the high-performance of core players, though.

It's not just the identity crisis the game is suffering from, it's the fact that it now has so many components and variables that it's taking away from the strategizing and decision-making experience. Not to mention the power-creeping that has absolutely messed with the balance of the game. The curse is that diehard fans will see any change as good change, and the voices of toxic players tend to drown out legitimate criticism, thereby perpetuating the downward spiral of a once beautiful game.

Little bit I'm out of main topic, but I remembered that I played in one Battle Cup 8 tier, with my Immortal mates (I was 2k rank EU, we had 400 EU, 1000-1500 and 2000 rank EU players) against MindControl squad(just his friends or random players) and our mid storm was destroyed versus MC on Lina(21-0) under 30 minutes. 😂😂 That was a fun game actually, but I have to say that every player should have an experience on other roles instead of main😅.

@@wil3zra229 I'm pretty sure miracle lost his drive to compete at the highest level of the game. I think he achieved what he wanted to and decided to settle with a decent salary. Not everyone wants to live their whole lives playing a game, even if the game is as beautiful as dota. You can see he still plays. But I don't see him trying hard anymore. Him and his mates at nigma don't even practice as often as the people at the top like watson.

The flexibility in draft between Matu Miracle and Mind Control was one of the best and widely used strats by Liquid. It was a whole new dimension teams had to deal with and they weren't ready for it. I miss those times .

Just wanted to add, another charm of Miracle is his personality. How easy going and positive he is. In his prime era, he's not the only pubstar. There's also the ever famous RTZ, the youngest player to win TI Sumail, the chinese legend Burning, etc. But they all have their own brand of toxicity and ego. Not Miracle though. After all this time he maintained his positive image, that's why he still had a lot of fans
