Gordon Ramsay is truly a genuine person. He doesn't get angry without a reason and if he is angry within reason, he doesn't hold back. The American version of Kitchen Nightmares producers knew how to capitalize on his genuine personality and made him into a success for both the show and himself. It's a win win I suppose. We still can't get behind how truly skilled of a chef and entrepeneur Gordon Ramsay truly is.

Gotta love the amount of idiots who think owning restaurants is easy or is just a device to stroke their egos. Yes, american producing loves creating drama. But to create drama, you usually have discourse that make it easy to build off of. So it's hilarious for these guys to claim that the show staff showed up to ruin their lives or they were perfect angels. Or even ruin their business for that matter. Most of the time, they close down because they realized they messed up too late to recover. The chef going on his gumbo is delusional too. If the gumbo loyalists were worth keeping around, they wouldve kept his business alive, not be one of the reasons why its failing.

The other reason why he ended it was because of his health, he had gotten food poisoning so many times that it was making him hate what he was doing. I can't remember the exact interview but I know it's in the top 5 on KZbin as to why he ended it.

i think why the US versions of his show are more dramatic are because of hells kitchen the very first couple seasons he gain a lot of popularity from him yelling and drama in hells kitchen thats most likely why the US version is so over the top as seasons go on

One of the major thing not covered is that many of the restaurants they chose to work on are on their last legs (foreclosed a month later). Massive debt, bad reputation, and bad timing by the producers.The restaurants that did do well for the most part, didn't have a dead reputation, had good cooks, and only had mismanagement issues. Another thing is that restaurants regularly open and then close within the same year it's the nature of the industry.

A so-called manager gets told by someone who doesn't even work in the restaurant he should lie down and rest. Let's just assume that's true. Instead of getting a break approved by his fellow managers and taking a rest somewhere private, he just passes out on a booth that all the customers can see. Yeah, it's his own fault. Plus, all this family drama on camera is because there's actual family drama. If there wasn't drama, there wouldn't be any on camera. How stupid can these families be to just think they're so perfect that anything bad about them is all fabricated by a chef trying to safe their restaurant?
