Gordon’s farther once threw boiling water over Gordon’s sleeping mother and dragged her downstairs by the hair. And sadly Gordon’s sister was in an abusive relationship too, and Gordon found the man holding a pillow over his sisters face!! luckily he was able to fight him off. Gordon may shout in his kitchen, but he would never hurt anyone. he has worked hard and deserves respect. I saw a video of him in Marcos kitchen when he was still young and he never talked back and did everything he was asked to. He started from the bottom

THIS is why I have such high respect for Chef Gordon Ramsey. He has dealt with so much yet persevered. He comes off as an insensitive prick but he has standards, goals and the motivation to be a better man every day. I think he pushes others to look inward and do better, be better, think better etc. He knows what failure is and has forged himself into a katana of a man. I mean, it's ironic how Ramsay wanted out from his abusive father that couldn't quit his failed music career to then become a soccer player that wasn't able to quit even after it got handicaped TWICE to then go and never give up on his dream of becoming such a great chef and coincidentally a super star. In a sense he achieved the fame that his father wanted for himself and at the same time Ramsay couldn't give up on his career. In a sense, he's like his dad, maybe that's what he got from him, a burning passion and huge resistance to pain and stress, his father after all did influence Ramsay. Ofc, he made better decisions and didn't fall into the same traps that his father did so in a way, even coming from an abusive and "nobody" familly you can find succesa when you give all you got and then some more. Mad respect.

@Myroh I mean, eating a $30 lunch every day is pretty ridiculous, but a nice fancy meal for a special occasion? I've paid far more than $30 for a meal and I'm not rich by any standards. Save up and treat yourself occasionally.
@Jaketheaxman4 жыл бұрын
@Myroh really it is mid range if you think about real fucking food instead of the stuff that tastes good but makes you sick a day later. $30 is also about an hours pay for a lot of people. And a lot of people work 8 hours a day. So you still have the other 7 hours of pay to pay the taxes on the paycheck, and to buy whatever you buy. But it's totally affordable, as long as you're at the peak of money management.

Ya know, i was wondering why i went from hating Gordon because of his mouth to loving him after binge watching Kitchen Nightmares during Covid. But now i know why i love him. Just look what he has accomplished in his lifetime. From rags to riches is right. Also if you look past all the F bombs, he's quite an amazing guy. He seems to really care about people and wants to help them. Now i understand why, it's because he's been where they are before. I've watched most of the kitchen nightmares, some of the Hotel ones and a few of The F word but i still can't make myself watch Hell's kitchen. He seems so mean on that one. I'm realizing that it's mostly an act. I believe he should do more to show how good hearted he is. I feel like i missed out all because i thought he was an Arse.
