Our young generation is highly obsessed on securing government jobs because of the significant societal admiration towards them. This leads students to dedicate 8-10 hours of their day in exam preparation, resulting in a gap in their career path as they are unable to transition into the corporate or any other sector. During our visit to Mukherjee Nagar, we delved into discussions surrounding government jobs, peer pressure, and various other related topics.

२००६ मे जो कांग्रेस पार्टी ने एज्युकेशन पोलिसी बनाई थी , जिसमै रिझल्ट % नही बताया जाता , सिर्फ A, B, C, D class बताया जाता है, जिस पोलिसी के हिसाब से १ से ९ कक्षा तक के बच्चे को फेल ना करने का और उसे सिधा अगले कक्षा मे डाला जाता हैं , २००६ मे ही प्रायव्हेट अंग्रेजी स्कुलो को किसीको भी बाटने का काम हुआ ,इसके बाद कोचिंग माफीया ने पैर पसारे, इससे गरिबो के सरकारी स्कूल बंद पडने शुरु हुए , २००६ के बाद इंजिनिअरिंग कॉलेज की संख्या १०० गुना बढाई गई , जिससे २००५ के बाद स्कुल मे १ क्लास मे प्रवेश किये हुए बच्चे ही इससे एफेक्ट किए है , यह गांधीवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी नहीं है यह माओवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी है, नक्सली लाल आतंकियों ने कांग्रेस पार्टी पर पूरी तरह से कब्जा कर लिया हैबाटो और राज करो यही कांडरेस की निती रही है, अब कश्मीर, नोर्थ ईस्ट मे फेल होने के बाद दो नये फ्रंट खोलना चाहते है, खाली स्थान, द्रविड़नाडु , , कभी भाषा , जाती , क्षेत्र मे बाटना , सनातन धर्मो की बुराई , मज़हबो का तृष्टीकरण , क्या भारत का कोई भी देशभक्त नागरिक इनका साथ देगा, unity

It just took me 6 months to reliase that gov jobs are not me.. initially my family was disppointed and my salary was really low at private job but now i'm working at one of the top MNC with really good package. I hv carcked govt. Exam just with in a yr after graduation... And the respect and the power it gives u is worth the time i hv given. .. But let me tell u... From what I hv observed .... Most of the students actually not studying the competition is among only 10-20% .. The rest are actually not serious about job not interested in studying... And also there basic scl education is weak that's why they are struggling... Even though they start studying they can't achive it in less time cause they hv to bulid their base first......

Vacancies will always be less even if population is reduced cause, it totally depends upon the requirement. No govt can employ extra people without requirement just because they are unemployed. And suppose question papers aren't leaked, still not everybody will get into govt job because they might not be eligible enough. Student preparing for any non-technical govt job ends up learning almost nothing after years of preparation. It doesn't skill you up. All those preparations can only be used to teach others for preparation. You can't get into private sector on the basis of those learnings.

The problem is the lack of jobs in core sectors/ pure science and arts sectors. Eventually in India everyone has to prepare for a service sector job (banking, IT, teaching etc.) even if they have natural sciences which are more research oriented than being market ready. If you suppose a Food product company will employ a chemistry graduate to develop a new flavouring agents/ preserving agent. This type of core sector research jobs are missing from the market and the research contribution state of private entities is very dismal.

Tbh I don't think clearing govt exam is as difficult as others are showing nowadays, suppose the forms of any govt exam released and 10lac applications were filled this doesnt mean that you have competition with those 10lac people if we take average then nearly 80k or 50k students have done preperation by their heart and soul, others are just the crowd that went to each and every exam just for the sake of getting govt job, So just simply focus on yourself work upon your weak areas and try yo analyse your perfornance after each and every step, and you can clear many railway/ssc/banking/defence exams, although hardworking is always the necessity but smartwork too can save your much time. Telling from some experience Take drop or not, just get into any college you can get, and from there you start building your skills, don't go for a government job. Just do your research and hone your skills which is relevant to the job market or whatever your passion is. After that you can get a job or opt for higher studies. I don't know about other general degree courses but I'm at the bcom final year & in this course there're a lot of things in the syllabus that can give you a decent entry level job but it's the students who ruining it don't study the syllabus properly and run after govt jobs only. How can a course which have almost 50-60% OF The syllabus of CA cannot be corporate ready ? It's even have higher employability rate than engineers, but the students don't take it seriously and spoiling the course...🙏

After having worked at a PSU Bank for over 8 years let me tell you not all government jobs are cushy and mushy as you think them to be. Everything is highly competitive and risky. You will never be able to let your guard down even after getting the job. Reservations and all would be applicable in internal promotions as well. You would high levels of social and decision making skills to go forward in work. And end of it all your mind need to be very able to withstand pressure and sometimes even humiliation. Remember your triubles would never end they would only keep on increasing and if you keep working thinking about only money you would never move forward. It's hard out there, and in the next Modi Raj things will only get worse for common people....

Dear Harsh, I was a corporate employee. I was literally told by an IAS Aspirant that ,"Teri company bnd kra dunga Chandigarh posting hone k baad" just because he felt insecure. These people know a lot about power but nothing about the responsibility. The only vision they have is to have power and to harass the common people of their city. . I live in United States now and I have joined a lot of societies here. I even met the IFS officers at the Consulate General of India and at other venues. They have a genuine respect of the people they are working for. My whole perception changed and I realized that for the one with highest vision, these paper based tests aren't a huge problem. . But these aspirants are just doing it for the sake of constitutional powers, nothing else. They care a lot about how society has treated them and now they want nothing but a revenge. As that lady said, they barely respect anyone who works in private. Whether you don't want to respect anyone's job but you must respect them as a person. I think you should make a part 2 of this video highlighting how the startup culture has taken India to another heights but some people (Like these Govt. job aspirants) are living one generation behind and have no vision about their careers.

With India being the new land of opportunities, people earning in millions at their Managerial and Director and other executive positions, they still blaming government and system for being unemployed. . Coming to your "Respect everyone and their choices don't generalize* (not generalise)", I was the 46th student in my batch who said that I'll work in Private sector and the rest 45 mocked/laughed and disrespected me like they already had their Govt. It is true that when you move to a different state for preparation, you're all alone, but this will help you definitely to be independent and process things very quickly in life. There are many short comings in private sector jobs as well, due to lack of skills, recession people are laid off as well, there are many who are stuck with the same package of 3 lpa for years, due to lack of upskilling, there's thight competition there as well. So it's not all glam there as well. There are difficulties on either side be it govt sector/pvt.
