Totally agree companies are the issue, unfortunately I feel like I help feed into this in my day to day job, Im a retail supply store manager in the building industry and can say across the board businesses have been doing extremely well since covid & still trajectorying upward. Those dwindling margins years ago due to competition have now been recovered & now we’re competing a lot less even still, you can name your price & people have no choice as everyone’s put their margins up so it’s great for business owners & not great for consumers.

Can you guy's do an episode on the new PBO Tax Mix Report out today. Then populate it with bits from NCOA and Henry Tax Review and then deliver as Pre Election or pre Budget 2025 wish list?

Have to blame the high immigration as well. Corporations are price gouging and making record profits, Universities and property investors are also corporations, their profit gouging was done by lobbying the government for unrestrained immigration. The 1.5+ million immigrants in the last 3 years means Labor will be out of government for many years to come.
