Back in the days they were the best skates in my opinion with the leather inside so dang comfortable. Then don't know what happened. But always loved them.

Graf Canada went out of business just over a year ago and aside from other contributing factors internal to the company, there was probably far too much of a "mom and pop shop" type of business mentality at play along with nowhere near enough research and development invested to come up with new technical innovations to keep moving the product forward and push the boundaries of on-ice performance for today's player at the highest levels of hockey. They were great skates back in the day and I enjoyed using them very much but they simply do not compare with the lightweight performance of current leading skates like Bauer, CCM and VH. While I also liked their Cobra NT3000 blade holder, they never thought to upgrade that product by offering a taller version of it with stronger steel and a trigger-changeable blade system like Bauer's TUUK LightSpeed Edge holder. Even well before Bauer introduced the trigger-changeable blade, most players would seek to remove the Cobra NT3000 holders from their Graf skates and replace them with a Bauer TUUK model. This trend alone should have motivated them to come up with a new type of blade holder. The "golden age" of Graf was clearly in the 1990s and early 2000s, but for the last 10 years, they didn't adapt or move forward at all in terms of innovation and were finally pushed out of the marketplace as a result.

I have worn Graf since I was little. I purchased a pair of their G75 ultra lites a few years ago. Not sure what I'm going to do once I wear them out playing college hockey. I tried finding the skate in the video since I heard they went out of business and no one has them in 8.5. You will be missed Graf.

You could try skates from Graf Skates AG (the original Graf out of Switzerland) which is still in business.

Sure hope Graf have cleaned up their screw you, hubris ridden act. SO got stabbed in the back by them. Pagotto NEVER responded to my letter to him......... Had a set of defective skates replaced with, get this......, another set of defective skates (with a preceding "screw you" phone call from the factory - thanks, thanks a lot) that upon discovering the fact that they had sent me - FIVE MONTHS LATER - another set of DEFECTIVE skates, I threw them in the trash. This IS how Graf treated me.ps: My contempt for Graf is shared by nearly every retailer who also has been treated like dirt.pps: Get in touch with me Claude or John, I'd love to hear what you have to say!

Nope. Graf Europe still exists in Switzerland apparently. Heard Graf Canada's assets and rights to the name were bought by Vaughn. Think they still exist
