Go Granny! Love old people and their stories. I used to listen to the old blacksmith, that taught my dad the craft, about ww2 days in Norway. He would be ordered to fix things for the germans but deliberately put in flaws by using low quality iron mixed with the quality iron they brought to him to work with for making shafts and engine parts for their ships and vehicles. Sadly he has passed on now. His wife was a radio operator for the 2nd radio station in the world that connected the US and Europe. We would visit them and I would be sitting and listening for hours. I miss them greatly. They were like a bonus set of grandparents for me growing up. :)

I have a relative almost Granny's age who also wanted to help support the troops in World War II while she was in college. She didn't work in a factory but she volunteered to knit socks for the US troops. Believe it or not, the USO told her that if she wanted to help the US win World War II, she needed to send those socks to the Germans! It's always good to hear from someone who can still remember those times (and there's less of them around every day). Thanks for featuring her along with the others!

As a multi-year Joe Budden Podcast fan, I commend Romans ability to lead the pod with genuine interest in conversation. Minimal dead air while still keeping the conversation entertaining and cohesive is truly and under appreciated skill. After watching most of the uploaded pods, I have no doubt this pod will continue to be successful.

Is joe budden a good poadcaster? All ive heard about him is that he talks alot of negative things about other people
@Dev.n2 жыл бұрын
@@elguerokabron he is, but everyone has their style. I’d describe the JBP as having a barbershop talk style conversation. They speak about current news events, trending topics, new music & television entertainment.. honestly they’ll speak about “anything” .. I watch many different podcasts, but shouted out JBP because of it’s tenured success and joes overall ability to keep an audience engaged.

People will watch this podcast simply because it's Roman. A lot of people grew up with him. He is and has always appeared to be a genuine person. I'm glad the FBI took care of their threat and that they are back.
@Dev.n2 жыл бұрын
@@shawndavid1845 I understand and agree with your point mostly. I will add podcasting is very different in that it’s long formatted and difficult to keep people engaged / viewing. Everything I initially mentioned applies to everyone, not just Roman. No one likes an “incompetent” leader. While Roman NEVER struck me as incompetent; his charismatic and quick witted conversationalist side wasn’t showcased in the way it is now. In lames terms, he’s made to for this poding ish ! 😂

I love Grannie. She's so sweet and fun. I actually know a WWII vet. She's awesome, served in German WWII, came up from South Korea in Korean War, and got seriously injured (lost of limb type injury, had both of her shins cut in half by an IED type weapon) in Vietnam war. She still goes out horseback riding by herself daily, talks about her day in the service, flew bombers, patched dudes up as a nurse, and delivered babies as a midwife. They don't make em like Grannie and my friend anymore.

This is your best podcast yet. They are all great, but this, this one, I reckon even you guys are going to look back at all of the podcasts you have done, in a few years, and this podcast is the one that is going to stick out in your head the most! This entire group of people, including yourself, Roman, and of course Britt and Country, you are all such laid back, funny and just all round awesome people and this podcast kind of just feels like I’m sitting around with a group of friends, hearing some of your funny stories that I haven’t heard before! I felt like I was in the room with you all. Thanks for that. Also, on the subject of online trolls, I have never understood how anyone could write awful, negative, nasty comments to anther human being in any circumstance, but especially to a person who is just trying to entertain others and trying to make people smile or laugh or just forget their problems for 20-30 minutes! I can’t imagine feeling compelled to write a nasty comment to anyone, I just can’t wrap my head around it. Although, to be honest, I don’t want to understand this type of behaviour! Love you all. ☺️🙏🏼🌸
