Bailey this song is my all time favorite Hymm!...i heard it first in a Christmas Show i was in as a 5yr old at my private school...it was sung by two gentlemen as a duet and it still is one of the most beautifully impactful live performances ive ever witnessed...and because of the content of the lyrics and meaning...you did a great version and i loved that you played the Uk'...as my roots go deep in Hawaii... Funny thing. The first time I heard you sing this I had a flash of Elvis Presley. I listened to it again today and the same thing happened. Of course he covered it like so many other artists and that's probably where I've heard it before. You got me to listen willingly to a hymn (not something that I'm a natural fit for) several times and reminded me of one of the great singers of the 20th Century. Not bad for a weekend's work.
