BEST VERSION. (Unless you're a super fan of the solo artists or have nostalgia for another version.) It has the right timing, overall- it's not mindlessly blasted out, the harmonies are intelligently used, and there's thoughtful use of the instruments and sounds. I bought this Contemporary Hymns CD 15 years ago. All the well known hymns on the collection were carefully mastered in this way, but I appreciated this rendition the most. The recording here could have better quality but I'm thankful to have found this version at all on YT.
