I really like how Phil explains at 19:12 on how Wong Fu productions show you the unglamorous side of love. This was exactly what I learned from their videos and am eternally grateful to them from transitioning me into a practical adult compared to my teens , when I was heavily influenced by Romantic dramas and novels. To this day, I still can’t forgive myself on my foolishness.

Can you guys have an on long video like this about flirting (from both the male and female perspective)? How does one flirt, and know when someone is flirting with/towards them? I legitimately struggle with knowing when a guy is flirting with me and when I'm coming off as flirty. When I'm not thinking about it, I, apparently, flirt like a goddess! When I'm trying to flirt, I'm a flustered mess of overthinking and shyness. 😭

So, this popped into my mind as I was watching this vid. Doesanyone at Wongfu feel like you desensitize yourselves to some things, ie romantic gestures or the harder stuff to talk about because it's portrayed in your shorts or films? Like, is it ever therapeutic to put it out there on such a public platform but also, do you ever not feel the need to experience it in real life because you feel like you experienced it in a short or film?
@hannahcaramel25 жыл бұрын
I dont think I will get a bf anytime soon lol, whenever I have feelings for someone, I push them down and pretend/force myself not to like them.. because I guess I'm not really confident in myself that anyone would like me, and my recent crush is my friend so..
@chanamita4 жыл бұрын
Hi Hannah! I don't know how old you are, but personally from my experience as a female and someone who has been in a relationship that was started by me, my advice is not to go into a relationship if you can't love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. if you're not comfortable or confident in your own skin and someone you love hurts you, your self esteem and your self worth; you'd be putting yourself in a very vulnerable spot. I fell into even more depression as I broke off my relationship and I learned the hard way to love myself and prioritize myself first before anyone else. I'm only advising you, do not take my word like I'm a professional counselor in marriage or dating. Love yourself first and then you can love someone the way you love yourself and your family. Don't find love from someone else who isn't perfect, it'll only cause some heartaches, disappointment and tough times. Love your flaws, your shortcomings, your strengths and what makes you YOU. sending you love, girl!❤ build that confidence girl! what makes you happy will boost your confidence. I gained more confidence in myself by dressing up and loving my own style.

I’m always super appreciative of my coworkers when it comes to my period. There’s a lot of physical work to do at work including some climbing so when I’m like yea can you get that for me?...at first they’d question it but now they just know. Also I find that all of my older coworkers tend to be freaked out about periods while all of my younger coworkers who are around my age aren’t bothered by it.

I can tell you what has worked on me. Girl 1 ran into me randomly with one of her friends. She was an acquaintance, and she asked for more number to hang out some time. Girl 2, I met through a mutual friend; she found me on facebook to add me as a friend and started messaging me. She chatted, asked for advice, and offered to take me out to dinner as if I was doing her a favor. Girl 3 got my number from a mutual friend and started randomly messaging me. It can be that simple.

7:40 wow I always thought that guys find that pretty weird Cause every time I buy tampon when I’m on my period, I feel so embarrassed in the store cause I feel like all the guys are watching me and making fun of me. I don’t even know why it’s so weird, since it’s a natural thing and we can’t do anything about it... but it has always been this way, like in school, you couldn’t even really talk with your girlfriends about it... Especially if your father is making fun of it all the time, I feel like every guy out there is like that too... idk it’s so embarrassing always

The reaction of the character in the K-drama clip is similar to something that happened when I was watching something once, but I don't remember if I was just excited about something or if I was laughing and accidentally rolled off the bed. It was probably the latter, and I was probably being stared at by at least one of my cats at the time. If I was excited about something, it was probably related to J-pop, because the videos of SixTONES are one of the only things that can make me laugh and cheer me up that much so quickly. Actually, either way, I was probably laughing about something.
@bryannaellis96505 жыл бұрын
Actually, that clip might be from something I was thinking about watching when I have time. I have a much longer list of J-dramas that I want to watch, plus some I have to finish watching, though, so maybe I would wait a bit longer on that. It really depends on how things go. The only thing I can watch consistently in Japanese would be the youtube videos of SixTONES, Travis Japan, and Snowman, which are all J-pop groups. It's easier to find time for watching those videos between assignments for college.

How guys want to be asked out: _Properly_
@terebiomimasu5 жыл бұрын
Properly is subjective and implies that there is a right and wrong way of going about it, which is precisely what the question was trying to find out. Do they text? Phone call? In person? Do they have to use the phrase "do you want to go out on a date with me?" Etc. So I wouldn't so much as say 'properly' as I would instead say 'genuinely'/'sincerely' and 'directly' (as in, no hints or ambiguity). The channel it's done thru varies from person to person.
