Watching this video makes me realize two questions: 1) Why are mountain bikers obsessed with really narrow skinny ramps? 2) Why are mountain bikers obsessed with barely squeezing between trees? Just seems like a deathwish.

@@DaleStone Yep, I'd like to try to hit it all in one go. I found the Yu'kan do it drop and the stump gap a bit much for me on the day, but I enjoyed bobsled and huck finn. Having a tow-in would help, but Eric was injured when I went out and wasn't any help at all :) Some of those features have no frame of reference - they feel really unique.

Thanks to you and Dave for uploading this pretty dope content all the time. Always good times when I´m seeing you sending it, but even more importantly, it also makes a perfect source of inspiration for the trails that I´m just planning for a project, over here in Europe Ger. We don´t have such trails here yet, especially not with such excellent wood work. There´s still a lot to do here in order to create more understanding and acceptance for the sport, which is why I´ve founded an own non profit thing this year. It´s really going well, but we still need to convince the guys from the nature protection in another meeting some time soon. Would you two mind if I take some of your stuff as demo material, or do guys have insta, where I can send a pm? Ty!

@@DaleStone Hey! So I´ve been in touch the the land owner of the forest for almost 9 months now and we could agree on a really nice area with the goal to build around 22+km of trail in the next years. Now it´s on me to present our concept to the administration of the county because their departments for nature/water protection need to approve the project and they would like to have some material that shows how everything will look like and what impact on the nature these trails will have, they are interested in the building materials and so on. I can tell them a lot which I did, but I also just need to show them something. You need to imagine that this part of the country is so densly populated, that all the forests are a nature preserve, protected biotopes, or under any other sort of protection. 2 hours far away in the highlands or in the mountains down south its a different ball game but here we need to do a lot for the reputation of mountain biking and be very diplomatic, because the comprehensive opinion still is that we are destroying the nature with our big low pressured tires. Now over the fb group I was able to get around 360 locals together and just recently I have founded the association together with 6 others from this group, achieved the non profit status and will be able to open the thing for new members soon. Nobody would talk with just a few people on bikes. But people take it serious and talk with you when you pop as a club with a critical mass of members. However, we all agreed on that people from an administration usually do not have a wider understanding of the bikers demands and we agreed on that I would show them how classic mtb trails flow/tech look like. They said "Can be any language and does not need to be a documentary - we just wanna get an understanding of it) But the German material from other good projects hmmm lets say they are not the real deal and if then theres no footage. So taking some screen shots and scenes of your videos and putting them in for example my power point presentations and so on is what I wanted to ask you for initially. I have no intention of uploading my material anywhere. But again: thanks for making these videos man. It´s cool to see good trails, classics and bangers just to get inspired. I would like to offer the people here real trails and show everyone that there can be solutions that will be awesome for everyone whos visiting the forest. :D
