A little insight into why the four kings was like that. In normal gameplay, there's an extra king who is always out of bounds who has significantly more health than the others. He works as a damage conduit, so whenever any of the normal kings take damage so does he. It's actually the out of bounds king whose health you see on the bottom, and whose death triggers the end of the fight. But since every enemy is a bone wheel skeleton, then the out of bounds guy has the same health as any other enemy, so one "king" is all it takes.

I know how the four Kings works, I feel like I'd be a pretty bad challenge runner if I didn't know how one of the most difficult bosses to learn to do consistently worked ;p I more meant to draw attention to the fact that the randomizer doesn't replace the conduits and the health bar, rather than only the health bar.

@@solarpellets are you saying that with this randomizer there's just one enemy down there? More bonewheels wouldn't have spawned if you waited? Cause the way I thought the randomizer worked is that all the kings were replaced, so the others didn't have the opportunity to spawn because the one that's supposed to have more health didn't. Are there multiple popular randomizer mods cause I'm positive the one I've seen before replaces all of them.

The reason seath and the guard aren't replaced is to prevent softlocks. If seath is replaced it's entirely possible that you may not be able to die at all there (and potentially worse, whatever replaces seath may not be properly immortal -- killing not-seath here would result in a softlock since you can't leave and even if you warped out the archives wouldn't progress and you'd have no intended way of progressing further). The guard is simply to ensure that you *can actually kill it* through the wall, depending on what replaces it it may not be feasible or doable (also resulting in a softlock, e.g if it wanders off). As a sidenote, in item rando the cell key is also not randomized for the same reason.

It wasn't "too annoying" it was repetitive and boring. Literally all it changed was spending slightly less time fighting the first bonewheel which would not have been hard at all, just long. I figured it would make my experience, and the video, better.
