How Hard is it to Beat Tiny Tina's Wonderlands With ONLY Legendaries?

The 6th installment of the Legendary Only Challenge Runs! Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is insanely fun, but suffers the same problems as TPS and BL3 when it comes to legendaries. The first boss can drop a legendary, just not until after level 9, making this run a whole lot more interesting and annoying, but it was a great time and learning experience all around.
I also apologize for the mic quality, I now realize why people write scripts for the whole video, where I just do the intro and outro scripted, then all the clips in-between. I plan to change this next video, and make a proper, good sounding video.
I also plan to perfect my character design in the next TTWL playthrough, this was just my first try, but a funny reference either way. I think that the fact I chose an elf to be my character, and that I was planning to go the Raised by Elves twist of fate is pretty funny.

If you have the gold edition you get two legendaries in mail on all new characters. A grenade and a gun

Talking about voice actors, it absolutely BLEW MY MIND when I found out Scott Frerichs(KaizerNeko) voiced Ribula and every other skeleton in the game. Love the hell out of Dragon Ball Z Abridged, so hearing one of his characters voices during a side quest had me jaw dropped

That is one of the coolest things ever, and that's happened to me a few times. Recognizing a voice actor from another series is one of the best feelings and I have so many examples that I was thinking of making one of those "same voice actor" videos.

I started TTW with high expectations when it first came out and enjoyed it....for a little while. Then the grind became a never-ending frustration. Haven't picked this up in ages and probably never will.

It is fun to do a playthrough every so often, and that's what's been keeping me loving this game, and I hope to grind to chaos 100 now that I have it on PC, but I hope it doesn't burn me out on this game.

I was playing Calamity at the time, and I love the soundtrack, so that's what I used. I usually use matching music from the game, but I haven't listened to the entire Wonderlands soundtrack yet.

I got the Reign of Arrows at level 13 randomly from the blacksmith boss for claptrap’s mission in the Vorcanar region (can’t remember any of it I haven’t gone there in so long) The thing hard carried me with 69x6 damage until level 28 when I finally dropped it. Easily my favourite shotgun too

The Reign of Arrows is my 2nd favorite shotgun, only passed by the Last Rites, because it has bullet ricochet. And it's all fun and games until you die to your own arrows with no revive around.

i recently completed this game with my friend on ps5 and it was really fun. I played a spellshot and through class mods got a lvl 8 perk that gives you spell crit chance (it was like 90%) at that point i equipped two spells that continuously shoot lightning beams and have 4 charges each so i just didnt use guns in the mid game at all. I then got a spell that continuously spawns ice spikes from the ground, which became my favourite and carried me the rest of the game and a legendary spell that spawns a frost ball that deals a shit ton of damage per second and melts anything it touches (reminded me of ayaka's burst from genshin) so my final build was a freezing destruction of death, especially with accessories that buff frost damage and a frost gun, i also didn't use any class abilities since early-mid game and just went with double spells, so i just got a spore warden second class and got my gun crit rate to 70% with a perk, now anything i sharted out at my enemies was critting non stop and the freezing cc was insanely useful. One last thing: after playing borderlands 3, legendary drop rate in this game was dreadful. We got 5 legendaries in total for the two of us after completing the whole game and several side quests and while we didn't farm them at all, it still seems too little (i found only one of the five we got). p.s. we also played on max difficulty and the game was laughably easy, almost every boss felt like beating up a child, we died on bosses maybe twice, one of which was on the final boss where we at first didn't notice the translucent wyverns running across the arena. Most of the game our guns felt pretty shit, we didnt feel op at all, but we still faced no real challenges through the game, maybe coop is just broken in this game and the enemies don't scale correctly?

I really have to play more class combos, cause there are some awesome builds, but you're definitely right about legendary drop rates. You're supposed to collect all the dice (which I have done, and it was insanely painful) for more loot luck, and thus, higher rarity gear. I also think even the highest difficulty is super easy, but this game was made for a younger and newer audience. And the main issue with BL3 and TTWL is that you usually need a super specific build to be OP. I'm also planning to try co-op soon, so I'll see how the balance is for myself.

the low legendary drop rate is only if you dont look for d20's once you get a decent amount of them it can reach up to bl3 drop rates

Well, it was also a combo of under-leveled gear that made the fight super difficult, but after getting that legendary gun drop, it was easier, but my survivability still sucked.

I'm a avid borderlands enjoyed mainly 1 2 and tps this is my first look at wonderlands and I didn't think the art style could get any worse than bl3 I'm amazed at the drastic flop of 2k :(

I would say I agree for BL3, they should have stuck to BL2's art style, but for Wonderlands, I think the new style fits perfectly, as TTWL has a whole different universe and story. I just wish there was more content for TTWL, not infinitely repeatable levels for the endgame.

I never really thought of that, but that makes so much sense. I can only really think of the Monarch / Dictator and maybe the Shreddier as good Vladof guns. I would argue that faster fire rate = less base damage, but I don't know why they would make Vladof guns weaker than other manufacturers.

A lot of people have. Not having Borderlands in the name might be the issue, but I think making a spin-off series like this is a neat choice, considering they can make a new unique story separately from the main Borderlands story.

I know that TTWL isn't the most popular Borderlands game, but the only issue I really have is the fact you can't do a new game+ (true vault hunter mode) and the DLCs not being what we would normally expect. Besides that, I think it's a fun game for a playthrough, and I come back to it a few months later as I cycle through the Borderlands games.
