Honestly I’ve been a fan of Feldman my whole life. I love his movies. I always liked the fact that he was good friends with Michael Jackson and copied his look sometimes, like in the movie dream a little dream. I say if he’s having fun playing rock star, good for him. You missed 2 vital parts. His two notes were on 2 different strings- 1 on the g and 1 on the b. Then he is not pressing all the way which allows him to get that "dead sound. Finally he does a brief chromatic descend followed by a chromatic ascend which is not in time- just randomly move whenever you want

The issue with your imitation is that you're cleanly playing a bunch notes, while Corey seems to be barely fretting anything, but rather getting a bunch of harmonics, and really going for more of an 'effect' than specific note choices. I think he is just having fun up there and not worrying too much about anything.

He may have injuries. Inventing diff ways to pick affects the sound. Lately ive been using picking hand anchoring, ideally all.three fingers but the middle finger raises during arpeggios and picking chords. Its a combination of batio and impelliteri. Feldman isnt bad. He can improve, then again how he plays may interact with his creativity
