Thank you for this, I’m currently doing a Nebosh and just missed out passing by 2 points. So retaking, but your words at the end will resonate with me until I retake and hopefully pass!

Beautiful explanation of the topic. Especially your last words. I am unemployed now and I’m looking for new role and HSE is attract my attention. You gave amazing description of the situation so I appreciate you for this.

I failed the NG1 exam and then came across Stockwell safety on KZbin . I followed all the points that they suggested and passed the exam the next time. My advice is simple make sure you explain your answer.

You're so honest and you remind me of myself in the academic sense. I also left school with one GCSE but matured academically in my late 20's to now early/mid 30's.

This is what I was needing to hear. I'm having to do NEBOSH as part of my job requirement and was kind of lacking the motivation to push myself. You explaining what the hard part of it means has really helped. I find your video great and really well explained. Thank you.

Hi Adam, thanks for the insight. I have my NGC Open book exam in a few weeks, and i am feeling very confident going into the exam. Totally agree with you, self motivation plays a massive part in this- without putting the study time and preparation into this, it will be an awful 24hrs. If you want it enough and put the work in, it will be a doddle (almost).... anyway, i've subscribed, so keep the videos coming - i've watched them all - very informative and a really useful accompaniment to my studies. Thanks 😄

I did 11 gse's and 6 A levels. Going to a grammer school helps. Didn't help with life, only makes entry to university easier. My engineering diploma and work experience are what I rate.

Hi. I am instructor (1 year) in an offshore safety training center in Netherlands. I instruct GWO (Sea Survival, Boat transfer, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, First Aid), STCW (Sea Survival, First Aid), OPITO/NOGEPA (Sea Survival, Fire Awareness). My education is a Master Degree at Middle Eastern Studies (english language). My question is what the potential and tge requirements (besides certificates) about to join to the offshore industry as a HSE officer. Also what certifificates do you suggest, besides Manual Handling, Fire fighting, and Gas and oil? Any advice, more that welcomed.

'Learning how to learn' will be a big one for me. I've done an apprenticeship but beyond that have never really studied content like this. I know I am capable but I will have to fully learn the most efficient/proper ways to revise, rather than just trying to remember the entire course content verbatim as I guess that isn't really a good method!
@StockwellSafety2 жыл бұрын
You can do it!
@wild4fp2 жыл бұрын
Similar. At work others pick up learning easier it seems. As the vlog says, hard, no other way. I aim to know a small percentage of a topic, re study it and hopefully an in extra percentage knowledge gained. It's tedious. Write and re write also. It's tedious.

Greetings! My English level is something between intermediate and upper-intermediate level and i passed several courses in English when i was working for Chevron as a contractor’s HSE Manager and did kinda not bad. Here in Kazakhstan being NEBOSH certified makes you look better especially if you passed in English. So i found online service provider and thinking if it worths to take a risk and spend so much money to get NEBOSH IGC-1 and IGC-1 courses online?

Great video!! At 50, COVID has made me reassess the future. My masters in engineering (I too was a 'late developer' and school was not so good) is outdated and my experince is not in engineering, so what to do? NEBOSH interests me, but my desire to push myself makes me want to jump in at the deep end with this international diploma, but will I miss the basics? Decisions, Decisions!!!
@StockwellSafety2 жыл бұрын
If you want to push yourself, the diploma will certainly do that! Good luck in your studies.
