I'm slightly confused, I am just starting my foray into this subject and finding your info really useful. My question is, will the DL exams (i am doing IGC) expect me to know exam answers that are outside of the learners information that I am supplied with? Or am I expected to provide answers/opinions that are from outside of the info supplied/HSE website. Like you mention, there is lots of info out there, but how far do I go for the exam answers. I have little experience of open book exams (and never done DL), but I was always told, if its not in the book, it cant be examined. Is this the same with NEBOSH?

If you register with a NEBOSH Learning Partner, they should provide you with you textbooks or online access to their learning portal etc. For additional resources, the HSE website is always worth a look as the vast majority of their material is completely free to download.
