Jagger Django don't underestimate his ability just because of low damage he's a sly and tricky son of a gun. His pokes are tricky to see and his move sets are wacky as hell at least what I experienced with fighting against a friend of mine who mastered lee and even then his wall carry is one of the best in the game believe it or and the easiest compared to Nina where you have to do a fucking qcl in order to get a decent wall carry

Lee's only real problem is Tekken 7 is that they removed his ability to combo from ws2,3 without rage. Other than that I feel like Lee has improved from TTT2/TR, may just be me finally noticing improvement but it seems like his B2 chain is easier to use, even online.

I main Lee so I definetely don´t underestimate him, but in T7 I rather rely on easy combos and pokes only, and with nina you don´t really need wall carry to get high damage combos...in Tag 2 and T6 I was confident to do all the fancy stuff...maybe I just need to get used to it

I find launcher -> 4, u+3 -> B+2~f or b1,1~ f into 2, 1, 3 S!, run into f2,1 to be a pretty "easy" combo when you get it down, damage is also over 60 and the wall carry is nice without having to string too many b2's. Also made him way more fun to play than just grinding the unrewarding b2 loops to get 55 dmg....

Oha Cade nah it should do around 56 and thats why i never used ever in any combo u-f 3,4. I assume you meant qcb 3 (or 4..?long time since used lee) for the launcher but thats because the launcher itself is kinda bad so it does tons of damage.with a better combo with that launcher you get around 72 damage. The easiest combo to do now after the little small teeny tiny buff to b2 hitbox, is after any launcher ( but qcb 3): launcher > 4, 3, 4 > b2, 3, 4 > wr 3, 4 or wr 2, 1 for a wall splat. Before the buff you had to do b1(1)~f after the 4,3,4 cartwheel.

Man... how does Aris do it? It took me like hours to finally get a Lars basic ass shit combo down and that included periods where I forgot what I was even looking at. But here he is performing some high damage Lee combo, a character he never plays, and he gets a combo some stoner sent to him, down in 6 minutes.

I main Lee. For the past few weeks I haven't done anything else other than practice. This character is highly underrated, for the obvious reason that he takes A LOT of practice. He has very strict timing. But I'll say this: once you commit to mastering this character, you start to see the great potential that he has. "Lee's combo's are difficult to execute." Yes, when you stick to the command list combo's they can be. However, once you get a feel for his moves, you discover ways to simplify combo's, without sacrificing damage. He is THAT diverse.

TheMehkey lol you can dish out easy combos with most characters scalling from 60-70 dmg. Lee's optimal combos demands precise timing specially b+2,f what makes it worst is the online lag and input delay could easily mess up your timing. Dont lump him in with basic chars lol

Lugit36 makes it so the damage a hit does is less when the combo is longer, not to mention each hit will push the opponent further away from you in the combo. It rewards quick, 6-8 hit combos over 10+ hit combos

Lee is really only underrated because the vast majority of average players only judge him based on combo damage and execution. It's also why people seem to think easy characters like Claudio are super good. Added with the fact that there isn't a reputable Tier list with Lee on it since he wasn't in the arcade version, and you have people just jumping to conclusions. It's always the case with new fighting games. In practice, Lee really isn't that hard to use for execution except for his most optimal damage combos, but the damage different there is like 1-2 so it's not even really worth using. Plus those are usually not the optimal wall carry or oki combos. For actual use, his combo game really isn't really that hard. The main thing though is that most people never really take the more important aspects of the neutral game into account. It's what really makes a character good at a high level.In those aspects, Lee is very good. It's also why top level players generally say Lee is probably high tier. He has good space control, a pretty decent punish game, good counterhits, and great wall pressure.

Cool to see you do a Lee video. Been maining him since T4, originally as a joke. While his combo damage has always been abysmal, I'm glad they have improved him a bit. I get that he is more of a poke character, but I wish he had more ways to start combos with a low. And a good portion of his CH starters are slow on startup (minus F, F+4 but that is a high). If he just had more damage for those high execution combos, and maybe 1 or 2 more ways to start combos off of a low, he would definitely be EXCELLENT.

I main Lee and he is lacking many tools that other characters have but he's fun as hell :) Imho he is a CH combo character, I have to do a lot of fishing for counter hits because he doesn't really get much damage off of random lows like other characters. I'm still a newb though so I could just be missing his true potential lol.

Christopher Sanders LEE is my main,and one thing that I noticed about him from t6 to ttt2 and now t7,is that you have to play him in range 2 or 3.in those ranges his ch 3 and his slide is his most potent tool.and since ch 3 gets a knock down now,and a guaranteed slide.it makes is ws 2,3 to ff,3 even more dangerous,plus it makes your rage drive more useful.

I used to play Lee a lot in previous games but he really isn't as fun in Tekken 7 in my opinion. I'm not even talking about his damage, but his combos are limited because the screw attacks send the opponent way too far away to do consistent enders... So I think the best strategy with Lee in this game is to count a lot on counter hits and be able to perfectly do his ws2,4 mid-combo, as it's his best screw attack and the only useful one to combine with mist step cancels. But yeah he's pretty weak in this game in my opinion...

Lee isn't very good in terms of combo damage. His high damage combos needed more work compared to a typical BnB combo. His main strength are his oki, poking, and CH game. Almost the same way as Jin, but Jin's combo damage is now better in Tekken 7 because of his Zen 3+4 and his b,f+2,3,f Zen 3.

Professa_252 I started maining Lee here in T7. Playing lee what was finally tipped me over to buy a stick, a lot of his trickier moves feel uncomfortable on a controller, at least to me. On my third day with the stick and I'm nailing a lot more combos than I did before, to me lee feels a lot more comfortable to play with an arcade stick. :)

his damage without rage is weak, but his poke game and wall carry is really intense. This rage drive combo is a good example of how good rage can be for him as it can give you a HUGE comeback (and even more if your position gets you to the wall), and with a poke game this good you can almost always guarantee a favorable end-of-round in those situations where the big combo doesn't kill and both players are very low on health. Overall though I wouldn't say he's the best, but definitely still underrated and good.

I just wish he had a fast, safe on block + on hit low. His fastest + on hit low is db3 and it's i20 with little range. db3+4 is one frame slower but gives double the frame advantage at +4. D3 is -3 on hit and -1 on hit if transitioned into Hitman Stance. And it's launch punishable on block regardless of you transitioned or not. And he has the exact same throw as law does (ff3+4) but law gets a combo off it and lee doesn't. He should get a b3,3f combo so the damage wouldn't be that good. But f3+4 is fine i guess. But he does have strong mids in df1, df1, b4 for space control, df1, and df1. Hes got some good strings in f4,3, b1:1 series, 4,4, 1,2, and probably 2 more. Maybe I just need to slide more.

You can actually finish your combo with 3,4 while running(>,>,>3,4)that's easier and causes more damage,at least that's how I finish most of my combos in Tekken Tag 2

Tomhasbdwell B. No, it's quite a bit harder to hit wr34 compared to f21. You get almost 100 by doing this: Ws23, RD, d2, b2f b2f b2f, ws24, f21/wr34. Wr34 for 1 more damage and f21 for wall carry. You can ditch d2 for an extra b2f
