Yay for having such a good reading year! In the past few years I've only been in 2 bed flats and as an introvert I love it and can't look back. I want to read more tessa bailey too. And this is a good reminder that I need to get around to my copy of the crossing. That edition of the olivie dade is so gorgeous. I like these goals, especially the pre-2020 goal. But how many books is that?

It's around 10 for me - so doable before the end of the year, and any I don't prioritise is probably a sign that I don't want to read them that much!

The best book I've read so far this year is The Guncle by Steven Rowley. My biggest disappointment of the year so far is What the River Knows by Isabel Ibanez. I had been so excited for it, because of the setting in Egypt and the magical realism. I enjoyed those parts, but the first half moved so slowly. I also hated a couple of things that happened at the end. 🍍
