Not only is Jake Paul telling girls that boys obsess over their bodies hurtful to girls, I also think it's hurtful to boys. I know that a lot of of boys that age are just discovering those feelings for the first time, and maybe they're a little ashamed of those feelings. Jake Paul could be someone they trust and look up to, and he is saying that boys should be watching porn and obsessing over women's bodies, and in that situation I would think that there is something wrong with me because I'm not a creep. It's a horrible thing to do to make people feel like there is something else wrong with them at such a vulnerable time.

Rhett and Link are really good with KZbinr books. They came out with another book called The Lost Causes of Bleak Creek, this one being an original story. From what I know, they got a writer to help them execute it, but other than that, it came entirely from both of their minds, and one of the characters is a tribute to their childhood friend who passed before they started their channel. I think it’s well written, fun, and entertaining. Goes to show all you need to make a good book is actually wanting to do it in the first place and putting in the right amount of effort and heart. Its been a while but I was really curious so i downloaded the epub. This is what it says word for word- One note about this chapter in my life (and book): I realize that I am describing situations that make it seem as if I objectified women. I didn’t then, and don’t now. These young women were all excellent students, funny, and athletic. Though we might not have discussed world events or literature, we shared insights about the topics that interested us as typical teenagers, like fashion (such as when we walked by the Gap), culinary trends (“Do you think they’re handing out free samples at the Wetzel’s Pretzels?”), and the latest in digital technology (“Who just texted you?”).

as a minor and someone who has a uterus, i had to fully take a few minutes to process things after hearing the whole 'guys are obsessed with what girls look like naked' thing because, what the actual fuck. thats genuinely so gross. gotta be some of the most vile shit ive ever heard. like, we are already paranoid enough about sexual harassment and being objectified, ive heard boys my age talk about the girls in some of the most mortifyingly shocking disgusting ways, so for jake paul to preach that to his fanbase of mainly 12-13 y/o children basically trying to say that its okay is so genuinely disgusting to me
@seventyseven1977 Жыл бұрын
Honestly, don’t trust no one lol. As a dude, I can confirm that other dudes are weird. Me, personally, I’m not big into the whole “look that girl is hot” thing. I don’t get it at all. If girls were judging me based on how I look, I would be really mad. So I don’t wanna do it to other people because I don’t want people to do it to me. Plus, the Paul brothers suck. And the only actual Paul brother fans are fetuses and crypto bros. And normal people don’t like people like that. My general advice: carry a weapon, look intimidating, watch everyone around you, don’t travel to suspicious areas, and don’t put yourself in situations where bad things could happen. Sucks we gotta do this to be safe, but the world ain’t perfect so we gotta do what we gotta do. Have a good day. (Also, most guys I know are similar to me. All of what jake is saying is total bullshit. The only guys who are gonna be doing that, you probably already know who they are and what they look like. I hate them as well they are super annoying.)
@LyftraS6 ай бұрын
Don’t take it too harsh, (def still will happen) but carry yourself with a sense of (possibly false) confidence and actually be yourself and question nonsense and you’ll still avoid most of these psychopaths. P.s. as an anxious mid 20s man it feels like everyone wants something from me but idk what it is. So there’s overlap but just try not to project this exact mindset on to all the people you meet. (Sadly also dont ignore it if bad signs show up)

Fun Science was successful in rural America in towns that never heard of Charlieissocooklike. I was amazed to see it in the library of the farming town of 200 people. She wrote a book that transcended her KZbin career, and I think she was the only one I can think of that wasn't one of the Green boys. Like, that is so impressive. To make something that is a success without previous successes being a factor

Gotta give credit to Jake Paul, the book may be awful, but it actually seems like he wrote it himself, which is more than I can say for most celebrity books. I mean no professional writer could write that bad

I read it when it came out and I really liked it then. But I had also been a really big fan for a while and I was following her vlogs where she talked about writing it so I was very excited to read it. I have since fallen away from watching her and I haven't returned to the book since my initial reading of it. But thinking back on it, it felt like a motivational book without a lot of substance behind the motivational phrases. But it also didn't feel like a half-assed attempt at a cash grab, I thought the book showed that she put a lot of effort and care into it. So I would say its definitely not the best book in the world but she put effort into it, which is more than I can say for other KZbinrs. Not everyone's content can be transferred into another medium and I think Lily is the perfect example of that.
