I found MBL worship sometime a few years ago when I was probably at the lowest point in my life. But God met me where I was, stooping down to save me from my sin - my addiction, my bitterness, my self hatred, my insecurity - telling me that He loved me, He loved me, and He loved me. He loved me in my lowest, in my most broken - that the me he died for wasn't me who was following all the rules, but the me who continued on insisting Him to leave my life because so many times I felt God being in my life made it harder. But this past year I had the opportunity to go on missions after God reached down to me. And one thing that God kept highlighting on my heart was how Jesus's response after he washes his' disciples feet isn't asking them to wash his feet in return; rather, he instructs them to wash each others' feet, just as he did for them. And in that sense, that is how we love the Father in return for His love for us - loving others. Brennan Joseph! I have no idea if you will ever read this but I have no idea what kind of trials God took you through for your worship to be this anointed, but whatever it is, it has blessed my heart, and the thousands around me. Your spontaneous chorus "He Loves You" in this song helped me beyond words to see the love of the Father for people around me - the same people I hated so much and blamed for all my problems. That the same, all pursuing, unrelenting love of God that saved me from my insecurity and bitterness is the same love he has for the darkest, the hardest, and the lost.

i went to camp this summer, the last night we were there we were doing our last worship session and we did a few extra songs, everyone in the building ended up in tears! i could truly feel the presence of the holy spirit it was amazing. a building full of middle - high schoolers worshipping the lord i will never forget that night. they ended up canceling the bond fire we were gonna have that night because of how many kids were so emotional. we went back to our cabin and talked and cried the rest of the night
