I was in my room in worship listening and praising Papa. Near the end I was tired and wanted to go to bed, but I felt the spirit say wait... I looked and it only had about 10 min's left on the video. When she prophesied and said peoples hands are getting warm, I felt my ears get warm and was wondering why my ears were hot and she had said hands, Not ears! Then right after she mentioned the ears getting hot! I got hit with a wave of the Lords presence and couldnt stop crying! She then mentioned how some of us are called to be Actors and Actresses, I gave up Acting 3 years ago to persue Jesus first and I knew God had promised that it was my calling... the very week I was doubting his promises and then she mentioned that! God is so good and faithful! Even if I never get to experience his promises, I hold fast in hope knowing I am a foreigner to this world and that something greater awaits me when I go home! Just like it says in Hebrews 11. Praise Jesus! Upper room's worship is so anointed and powerful because they are after his heart! I pray they continue this to the very end and never fail or give into pride. Praise Jesus the most High!

I've come from a very dark place where I have hurt everyone around me. To being strung out on drugs and losing my mind to even trying to commit suicide more than once. Seems like God always carried me through my storm and even though my life may not be perfect , after 14 long yrs of trying to do things in my own strength. Our father in heaven spoke to me through a prayer , now completing 2 yrs of walking with Dad, I will forever be thankful that He was the only one that loved me when I couldn't love myself. He was the One who was patient with me, and the One who forgave me for all my wrong doing. Behold the Lamb is worthy of repentance because He gave His life for me and you. To pay for the sins of the world. And Hes looking down at us every step of the way. He is Lord Almighty King of Kings, a forgiving father , a father of understanding and a father of comfort and strength when we are at our weakest point. He is the One worthy of our praise for all He has done and seen us through. Elohim Adonai , El Shadai Hashem Son of El Elyon blessed and He who sits on the throne . All glory and power hallelujah hallelujah Our God Almighty. Thanks be to you for all you have done for each and everyone of us. I just feel to say this to you, that you are worth God's love. You are so special to Him but it's not because he loves you and doesn't see you, who you are, really. Thank you UPPERROOM for allowing the Holy Spirit to manifest itself by worshipping in Spirit and in Truth. I currently live in Peru and i would like to share my testimony. I was born in Lima, Peru in a christian home attending in the Church of Catedral de Fe till I turned 8 and my family moved to the States. I lived in Northern Virginia for 19 years but at the age of 16 my parents divorced and separated I asked God why? I asked why did that had happen to me? my family is supposedly christian, we all go to church...so why God? I became bitter, I let anger fill my heart, I was full of resentment so I stopped going to church, I stopped praying, I distanced myself from God. Proverbs 14:12 says There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. I chose my own path, I chose my own way and I was headed straight to my own death. 11 years passed, I was 27, I had a job, my own car, a girl but during those 11 years of walking my own path i would drink excessively i would drive drunk i would get home and wake up and ask myself how did i get here? i would walk out the door and ask myself where is my car? and my mom would tell me Peter....God loves you...Peter God loves look how many times He has saved you....I would tell my mom, mom you know what, I'll get right with God if I go to Peru, If I go to Peru I can have new friends, a new life, then and there I can be right with God. Well for 11 years my mom never stopped praying, for 11 years my mom never stopped getting on her knees and praying to God to save me, to change me, to open my eyes. Well I was 27 and one day I decided to go out day drinking with my co-workers, It became 1 in the morning and I blacked out, what happens next is what I had to experience to have my encounter with God, I drove to my girls house we fought I was thrown in jail for 10 months for the fight, then ICE came and picked me up on my last day in jail to tell me that they have enough on me to deport me and so they send me to a different detention center to get deported. As i'm waiting there a young man 21 years comes up to me asks me if i wanted to go to a service there and I tell him sure why no? i have nothing else to do...I didnt even have the desire to go but I went. When I went to this "service", were talking about 10-15 people gathered around chairs worshipping and praying to God I looked around and said what am I doing here? what happened to my life? I felt everything that I carried with me for all those years, the anger, the resentment, all of it i felt it all and in that service i finally told God, God you know what...FORGIVE ME, FORGIVE ME FOR ALL THE YEARS THAT MY MOM TALKED ABOUT YOU, FOR ALL THE YEARS THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN, FORGIVE ME...in the moment while those words were coming out of my mouth His Word was fulfilled 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I felt all of my anger, all of my resentment, all of my sadness taken away in an instant while tears were running down my face...from that point on I knew I was not the same Peter as before. I got to Peru in July of 2018 I was 27 years old with just a shirt, sweatpants, my 2 Bibles that my brothers in Christ gave me in the detention center, paper and some colored pencils, since then The Lord through His Love and Grace has supplied all my needs, I got to Peru reconciled with my dad, was given new clothes, delicious food (if you haven't tried peruvian food you need to), I'm in my second year in the University and in those 2 after being deported, God placed in my heart to Evangelize, He began a change in my so profound that now when I hop on a bus to get from A to B I stand in the front and I tell everyone that JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS AND THAT IT´S ONLY THROUGH GRACE AND NOT THROUGH WORKS AND I SHARE MY TESTIMONY OF HOW I GOT TO PERU. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Things have changed because of the pandemic but It hasn't stopped me or the youth in my church to be the difference in the World, every friday we go out and share some food with those in need and write a small letter of how God changed us and freed us from our life of sin. We call it "viernes de pan" ( Bread of Friday). In my encounter with God in that detention center I realized that God was waiting for me all that time like the father waiting for his son in the parable of the prodigal son. I returned to Father, to Abba, and experienced the forgiveness of my sins, the one who is forgiven much loves much. If you took the time to read this remember that while you are alive it's not too late. It's not too late to return to His loving arms to return to His presence in humbleness and complete submission. Don't wait till you get to the lowest point of your life like I did, but if your there God is still reaching out to grab your hand and pull you out. God bless and may the Holy Spirit guide you and use you, in Jesus name, Amen

Wow!!! I have 'grown out' of church including Christian TV after a very tough very long season. Yet i came here because Upper Room were highlighted as one of the new bands coming to David's Tent UK in 2020. I had been part of the worship where the young lovely lady led a worship song. So i came out and checked this out....God if you are for real, like you care, let me experience you for myself and let my family have rest after 15 years of turmoil...i at times wonder if you still exist in my life anymore...i wonder surely what is this major sin either i or our parents committed that is unforgivable in your mind? Like i look around and watch the secular world able to live and have a life...while we can hardly breathe due to the tragedies we have experienced. Nevertheless i meant to say, little of what is Christendom excite me anymore as it used to, not because things were going well, no we were like everyday normal people with ups and downs - so i am not in God for freebies....however 18 years on....i do not know what to say. This is one of those few rare times that before i knew it, i had sat there in stillness and just listened to the worship and felt a form of a presence. Be blessed for what you do Upper Room & please please do for me one favour....do not seek to be trendy/chic/secular/sell millions of records/be popular/have trendy songs....just be what you are now, the world is deeply hurting and humanity is deeply wounded - we need a group of worshipers like you, whose one purpose becomes so clear - to enable, even if it is one person, have hope for 1 more minute! Many people do not realise that if one is unwell, they can not listen to loud bands and very loud screaming musicians because their body can not sustain a harsh sound....a sound of healing and peace and hope - if you were to rename yourselves, that would be who you truly are - a heavenly sound! Jesus told us that life would be hard, especially when we follow Him, but that He would be with us. It is when we suffer for His name that we see Him more and more. Have no doubt, He adores you! You were worth giving up heaven( the adoration of the angels, the perfect place etc.) Coming to earth and dealing with ungrateful, stubborn, foolish people who spat on him, and killed Him. And yet that was nothing compared to the agony of being separated from the Father to pay for everyone's mistakes. If it was just to save YOU and be with you He would have done it. He loves you, and I pray that you would encounter Him in many ways this year. No sin is too great to be forgiven, God called a murderer/adulterer (King David) a man after His own heart. His mercy and love are far above ours.
