As a gm player the biggest thing I noticed in lower ranks is they obsessed about the team comp and would get toxic immediately if the comp wasn’t exactly what they wanted. Some people would even throw the game before it started which did make my climb take a few extra games lol. Once I got out of gold I noticed it got slightly less toxic then in diamond it was almost never toxic unless there was a rocket on the team and the rocket would usually be the toxic one. Idk why it’s always the rocket players but that’s just my experience. Being toxic lowers the entire teams morale and increases the chance of losing. Instead of blaming your team focus on what you can do better. If your support is awful then try to focus on taking less damage. If you tank is constantly feeding to a Wolverine try to focus the Wolverine. Things like that. You can’t expect all silver players to play like a top 500 player or they wouldn’t be in silver. Just focus on what you can do better and don’t be toxic and you will rank up.

Getting out of bronze hell is so hard with throwing teammates 😭. 5 dps team, Bruce Banner main, no heal DPS Jeff, first time Spider-Man in competitive, and people doing troll shit bc it’s “just bronze”.

Too bad this generation views EVERYTHING as toxic. You try to bring attention to the spiderman that has no kills and 6 deaths and ask for a character swap and get hit with the "WhY ARe yOu CRyInG" and then everyone goes on a witch hunt to blame you for the loss when you are doing your job. At this point its best to just stay quiet beacuse todays gamers are too soft with words.

@@Triforcebroexactly. Younger players get defensive when you suggest a strategic change and then double down on their stubbornness. I just had my whole team of kids yell at me for suggesting our anti dive player focus on the dive enemy. Some people would rather fail doing what they want than succeed if it means adapting and taking accountability.

I play basically how he does in gm. Makes me confident that I'll be able to climb to gm atleast eventually. Only been playing for about a week, and am at gold 1 so far; Still climbinging steadily, teammates are only just starting to know what my skills do, and are more confident in trusting me to keep them alive at this rank.

I was about to comment during the plat game and say the gameplay is mid but they really turned it around in the GM game. CnD has a lot of cool tricks in her kit. switching to cloak then back to dagger reloads your dagger and its slightly faster than reloading. this is the perfect opportunity to use cloak E for damage boost and blind. I've found the tempo for the cooldown on cloaks E is every other clip. this is Huge for utility and maximizes her ability usage, you should do it all the time. Cloaking to float up before you Ult is another big tip. it allows you to get around walls and obstacles with your ult and lay down the carpet exactly where you want it. It also makes you less likely to get one shot by Mag ult which counters you. Last tip is that CnDs primary fire actually has an aoe to it. when you heal someone it heals in a small area around the target, you should never stop holding primary fire in most situations especially when your tanks are grouped. Just spam and E into the group and it works great. One thing that has a lot of nuance is her bubble. Its probably her strongest ability. You can use it to survive a dive from nearly any character and take the 1v1. Obviously dropping into a pile of allies is huge value, but leaves yourself vulnerable because its your only form of self sustain. you can shoot it on the bottom of a high-ground platform to heal that moon knight that you cant get with primary fire because the the healing field is a sphere that will pass through the floor. A bubble + E + primary spam will straight up counter a groot ult or strange ult. I love CnD and hate the hate she gets. GLHF!

Too many instances where she put the dome on herself instead of her tanks. What I do is put the dome over tanks (healing 2-3 teammates at a time) whilst healing them because I get healed at the same time that way our team has better chances of not getting wiped and I'm not even GM.

Hard stuck gold as a CD because of randos. But in the video one thing I will say for this dagger is that he isnt stacking his ult. He dives into the enemy too much with it instead of stacking it around the point and keeping the team healed.

lol you aren’t stuck because of randos. I got to gm solo queue and I had to carry several of my games. As soon as you learn to fix your own mistakes and stop blaming your teammates you will rank up. This is coming from someone who solo queued dps only and didn’t fill. Gold isn’t hard to carry in even with bad teammates. Try to be less toxic and blame your teammates less and they will also play better. If they are feeding instead of yelling at them explain to them how they can play better nicely or focus a little harder on keeping them up since you know they are feeding or eliminate who they are feeding to. You will get much better results and rank up faster. You can’t control what your teammates do but you can control what you do. I made a Smurf account and got to gm again in half the games it took me to get there the first time. Even with “randos” you will rank up if you consistently make the right decisions and manage cooldowns properly

I only guess you’re toxic because you blamed your teammates your very first sentence lol. Trust me bro it’s not your team gold is easy to get out of. Once you get out of gold and look back you will realize how bad gold players are and how many mistakes they make that you can abuse to rank up. Just pretend for a second everything I said is 100% right(which it is) and I promise you will rank up. Some games are not winnable but you only need to win more than 50% to rank up.

@ It's not blame when its proven in the stats after each game. I do my job as a support and sometimes even surpass a dps that cant get a kill. Yeah some games arent winnable because it is a teamwork based game in the end so thats why ill lose rank and then get right back to where i started after a few games. Just one big circle till i find a group.
