This only works if : a) you already have the team up active because there’s a Hela on your team; b)the kill happens after you are dead, so it is only the delayed damage of her right click that allows to do it

Most of the time it's better to place ur them near where ur allies taking the fight so ur clones shoot whatever ur shooting at. Plus in case they need to be saved from an ult with runes it's handy

Ml7 there is another hidden feature about Loki’s ult that most of players (including Loki mains) don’t know about it, which is when you copy an enemy you copy their ID name too and actually appear to them as their ally which means they see you with a blue aura not red, until you shoot or use any ability then the aura will change in their sight from blue to red and your actual ID will apear again. Excuse my poor English, i hope this helps ❤🙏🏼

Tip for Loki's backstab ability: Your clones will also back-stab. You use the backstab in one of 3 scenarios: 1. The enemy dives you or backs into you, then you go for a back-stab if the opportunity presents itself or with your clones you spawn around you. 2. Flanking the opponent while invisible - spawn a clone right behind them at an angle then immediately back-stab with the clone before firing upon them - quickly kills squishys. 3. If your allies do not need all of your healing for a while, place a clone directly behind the enemy backline to split their attention and, if they fall back too far, back-stab them with the clone. It does not come up often, but it is SO satisfying to punish the enemy like this.

This actually explains something that happened to me bc I was dove as loki by a thor who I had been firing on and while he was low I didnt think he was low enough to kill but he was taken out. It confused me but I took it lol

Placing a clone behind the enemy team, especially if you can place it on the high ground, is so useful. It can help you heal a tank that is separated by a Groot wall, poke some damage into a shield tank, create pressure and force someone to turn to kill it or even offer a good teleport spot to set up for a surprise ultimate to wipe out their team.

Loki is for sure my favorite strategist in the game currently, because his kit feels versatile and fun. He can set up ambushes with dive heroes, flank the enemy with many off angles, save his teammates from dying in the middle of a fight, provide a decent amount of damage and healing, disappear/disengage from a fight whenever he wants, copy another hero’s ultimate and with enough sufficient knowledge of how his kit works, you can literally play mind games with the enemy team. Truly he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve and the devs did a fantastic job in designing him. His illusions are pretty much act like a decoy, a turret, a translocator and an immortality field all in one.

@mL7 - READ THIS!! - There is one HUGE thing regarding his ult that you didn't mention. When you ult an enemy, until you do any action besides moving or until you get hit, the enemy team will see you as an ally not as an enemy! This makes a lot of Iron Man ults so easy to land as you just hover into them like nothing will happen. It's great! P.S: I never training range tested this, I just heard it once and used it until now and it always worked as no one was even looking at me. Give me a ping if you test it in a video or something!

I played overwatch for five years, and after receiving coaching, watching professional gameplay, following content creators like you, I couldn’t get past diamond. I one-tricked Loki season 0 all the way to grandmaster, and he’s still my primary hero. He’s challenging to master, and even after over 200 matches, I’m still learning new ways to use him. But he’s so rewarding when you play him right! Nullifying two or more enemy ults at once with well-timed runes never gets old. I’ll take that ability over most strategists’ ults any day. I would like to note, for the TP ability, your max clone placement distance is 3 meters farther than you can teleport. I have swapped to a clone, multiple times, that was closer to me, rather than the one I just place down, at max distance, and died, multiple times. It's stupid.

6:49 The rhotacism, to an ear that isn't used to your (I wanna say Romanian or Ukranian?) accent makes your voice flowing and overall very nice to the ear. I couldn't even perceive it until you said something. I had to repeat the middle section on the lamp runes a few times because keep getting distracted trying to copy your speech patterns 😆 (I still love accents of all kinds but I mainly use learn them for my d&d game). [To clarify I'm not trying to make fun, but the 'tism sometimes makes it hard for me to tell how I'm coming across sometimes.] Also I'd *love* to see an illusion placement map!

Something to keep in mind, is that Loki clones have a 1 minute time limit. So if you have them well hidden and you're hitting big heals then all of a sudden nothing, they've timed out.

It should do more damage because you could put a clone right behind someone and melee and the clone would backstab them rather than having to do it yourself, but it's so pointless for the 45 dmg that just putting clones and shooting is always better.

I believe that loki gets access to team up abilities during GOM based on your team composition. If you have 2 clones up and know WS hits clone 1 with ult you can fizzle the marked clone by placing a new one, stopping the resets.

What I hate the most about Loki (I have 90 hours as Loki, GM3) is he is EXTREMELY hard to play at his absolute best on console. Reason being his clones don’t always land properly because of some weird placement tech on console. It’s hard to explain but annoying.

The other day I was watching the hardest achievements in the game. One of them was getting a backstab k*ll from behind. And I got that achievement without even paying attention when I tried out Loki for the first time lol

It's really not as hard as people think, you don't have to get a backstab final blow, just elim. So if someone gets CC'd or Hulk goes back to Bruce banner you can just melee them once in the back for it. Or put a clone behind someone melee, so the clone melees them as they get team killed.

For the Symbiote map on defence i love to put loki just behind the boxes at the opening where the attacking team runs in. My clone has good cover and it's not easy to kill when they rush in as i can just lamp to keep it and my team alive. I stay up on the high ground where strange's usually TP to keep it covered, when they TP i try to make sure i have lamp and it saves time for my team to go up there. That way they can't dive us from behind and have to try again.
