Wow kids hard work and some forward thinking will get your slacker ass ahead. A honest,fair and professional business like HHR is becoming so rare. Keep it heavy,fast and evil brutha!!!!

Great to see HHR back story/ beginnings! Need a new addition of Hells Headbash fest (IV).. excellent times at the previous editions... won't be too long, a few years maybe, and will be the 25th anniversary of label. Time rolls on!

Great business story! I agree with you that if someone doesn't know metal music at all that they won't be a good fit for the business
@rexor75902 жыл бұрын
Really great origin story, I've never heard of a label forming like this but it's killer that this turned into a successful business. I started ordering from HH around 2004/2005, I had just graduated high school and started working my first jobs around that time and HH was always the best place to get merch. These days it's easy to find patches and shirts from the most obscure bands, but I remember the days when trying to find merch online from bands like Sodom and Sarcofago was not easy (you had to get lucky on ebay). I specifically remember one of the first orders I placed from HH was for a Toxic Holocaust patch and a Merciless shirt and remember seeing that old logo card you shared (or at least one that was very similar). Keep the HH stories coming!

Thanks for sharing the origin of hells headbangers. It has helped me grab some vinyls that I’ve been hunting for and it saves me some money of over seas shipping. This can help the new generation purchase these sick records and keep the underground alive.

That was cool. Like you said, I’d like to hear each one of your stories and see how they compare. I know Reaper has mentioned some stuff in the past, but always up for good metal stories. Hopefully one day we can get another Headbash. The two I that I attended, were outstanding.

Awesome story. Really nice to hear the back story. I first heard of Hells Headbangers a long while back. I am definitely glad I did, good prices, great selection, granted my purchases have been far in between, but never had an issue so far, even with USPS, because they are j*ckoffs lol. One thing I really like about HH, the many bands I have discovered through the site, ranging from seeing their CD's, shirts, etc. So it would get me interested in looking the band up, seeing if I like them, etc. Granted I use sites like Metal Archives for that, but sometimes it's a crap shoot, because there is some garbage on there. But I have found a lot of quality bands like Midnight, Nunslaughter, Archgoat, and more. Then of course the Hellcast, that helped discover more bands as well. I think it was late 2020, I came across the band Root on your website, looked them up, great stuff. Matter of fact, I bought a HH shirt, a while back, one of the We Sold Our Souls shirt, and when they see they back of it, one time, a guy asked me why I am wearing a satan church shirt. I was confused, and said, this is a record label/distributor, and he goes "Oh, well it's evil." All I could do is laugh a little, because of his stupidity. But most of the time if someone sees it, they ask out of curiosity. It's pretty damn cool to hear how it started though, and how your brothers were involved.

Centiniex is a pretty obscure reference fursure. I have the subconscious lobotomy album on cd. I think it’s a Russian bootleg, whatever. I’ve heard you say this story somewhat before on hellcast cool to hear the details. When did reap come into the picture? Isn’t he like 5 or so years younger than you?

Cool that you started uploading on your own channel. It's just good to see more metal channels by more 'real' people and labels or whatnot. A bit of an antidote to all the Metal sucks/Blastbeatnetwork BS out there. Cheers.
