It's been and continues to be the goal of the Palestinians to destroy Israel. Perhaps if they were able to move past their victimhood, stop indoctrinating their children to hate Jews and accept that Israel isn't going anywhere there can actually be peace. Anyway, part of southern lebanon which is close to northern border of israel which the idf is clearing now. I don't think the IDF will continue much further than the northern part of Israel is secure against Hezbollah, unless Hezbollah continues with their missiles, then I think Israel will clear a larger area. But I don't think Lebanon is interested in that at all.
