Quite unique isn't it? In fact, it was a factory option special ordered from Ford by R. Garza, the 42nd president of Mexico. An extremely uncommon feature on these cars!

You know in Europe there was racing on road circuits and purpose built tracks The first prearranged match race of two self-powered road vehicles over a prescribed route occurred in the north west of England at 4:30 A.M. on August 30, 1867, between Ashton-under-Lyne and Old Trafford, Manchester, a distance of eight miles. It was won by the carriage of Isaac Watt Boulton, one of six he said he had run over the years, In 1905, James Robert Crooke built the world's first purpose built racing car track inside his pear shaped horse racing track at Aspendale Park, Victoria, Australia. The first car race meeting at Aspendale Park, was organised by the Automobile Club of Victoria on 29th January 1906, in front of an estimated 1,000 spectators

There were car races in Europe before! 😉 but still cool video 👍

I agree, the first well organized races occurred in Europe, and the French were well ahead of everyone else before WW1.

THX 138 license plate, same number as the yellow 5 window of American Graffiti. An easter egg to the first movie George Lucas made. Do I win a prize?

Mate is your camera equipment giving you trouble ? Because that orange shading is terrible, surely it’s no deliberate ? 👎
@stevehunter55052 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, it is deliberate.

You do NOT need to put the fake "over-exposure, antique orange vintage effect" over what is obviously vintage archive. It's crass, childish and somewhat unprofessional. Whoever your editor, producer, director is needs a good talking too. It also assumes your viewers are not intelligent enough to distinguish archival footage from present content. Apart from my "minor"criticism, a fairly informative production.
@davidgrainger59942 ай бұрын
Actually it is about copyright issues with archival usage and fair use.
