I am so glad Nevaeh is using her discernment. Two weeks ago my daughter and I were in Polson Montana at the Walmart. All the check out lanes were packed . A checker said to us “ hey ladies my lane is open” and at that point two men almost ran us over to get into her lane. These men started talking to her, asking her name , what days she worked, asking if she wanted to party. These men were 40-50 years old with thick Russian accents and they were pursuing this 17 year old beautiful girl hard. one guy would ask her questions and the other guy was texting away like a crazy person. The two men left the store and I got up to her and said that she better watch out for those two men. We told the manager what had happened and they called the police and reviewed their cameras to get info . While this was happening the guy came back inside and watched this girl from a distance and took photos of her with his phone . This girl told her manager that she was VERY uncomfortable and had a sickening feeling about these men. She was being “nice” and she answered every dang question they asked her!!! I followed the man outside. I took his picture , I stood in front of his truck … took their picture … took a picture of his license plate and then called the police again with the info. Please be watchmen on the wall for our precious young people. If YOU feel something isn’t right …. Speak up and make a scene! We need each other , we need to protect one another.

This is happening everywhere in Canada also. Small cities in Saskatchewan, young girls are being targeted by men in grocery stores, asking for their phone number etc. the men are usually older, and are brown, with a thick accent, we must be watchful when we are shopping, and praying for our children

As a former security guard at Denver International Airport, please call Airport Operations for the Dallas Airport and have them check to see if their security cameras picked up this altercation. If you can get a good picture of the individual, you should call the police. He needs to be found. This could easily happen again.

I am a 70 year old female, and about 2 years ago, I was in Target trying to buy a gift for my grandson. I had no idea what little boys that age would like. I saw 3 little brothers at the end of the aisle who looked about 6-10 years old, so I approached them and started to ask what the popular toys were these days. The terror in their eyes immediately told me I had made a big mistake. They immediately walked over an aisle to their parents. Keeping my distance, I told the parents what I had done and apologized for being inappropriate and scaring their boys. The parents were very understanding and even showed me a few toys that their boys liked. I actually bought one of the toys, and my grandson absolutely loved it. I just had just lost touch with how careful kids have to be now a days and didn't realize that even a Grandma has to be suspect. 😢

As a mom and a grandma I get this, however, you can take this too far. Don’t scare your kids so much they can’t get help if they get lost. One time in an amusement park our family, (mom, dad, and 4 various aged kids), saw a little boy who was about 4 or 5 years old who was crying by himself. I was a little reluctant to go try and help him because of this fear that people instill into their children. So my husband went to try to find security I slowly approached the boy who was moving away (I didn’t want him to get lost in the park and someone dangerous get a hold of him), and I asked him if he was lost and needed help, I didn’t even touch him. He screamed and ran. Luckily my husband was bringing security and he ran right into them. This poor child was now screaming and trying to get away from security. We thanked security and left them to handle this poor traumatized child. Yes, warn and prepare them but don’t make it’s so they can’t get help!

My daughter is definitely reeling from this experience. She did file a report with the police and the site with all necessary info. I used to travel all the time, and in the Atlanta airport one night around 11pm I was heading to baggage claim from the train. As we were coming up the escalator, I saw a young teenaged girl in front of me alone and a man was 100% watching and trying to follow her. As soon as we came up the steps I walked right up to her and asked where her parents were and that we would find them together. When we found her mom I told her what was going on and she thanked me for looking out for her daughter. It happens a lot and it can happen fast.

Human trafficking is real. In my 20's, I was on a business trip to eastern Europe and a russian guy tried to buy me from my male colleagues, when we were out for dinner. He told them that he wanted to take me home on a permanent basis. My colleagues had to surround me and take me back to my hotel room and then pack me and took me to the airport, not leaving me alone for a moment until I got on the airplane to leave the country. Every person can be prey to these people. Young people need to be taught to be safe and be careful.

My teenage nephew, living in a single parent situation, was groomed by what he thought was another teenage boy through a video game. He thought he was making a friend and shared everything about himself and eventually welcomed a meet-up. The man who showed up knew everything he needed to know about him that with mere words my nephew got into his vehicle without a fight because he thought he had no other choice. Thank GOD, he pressed an alert on his phone that started tracking him. The police found him as he was starting to be assaulted. The guy had things in his vehicle that showed he was not intending to leave my nephew alive at the end of things. It was nothing short of a miracle that he was saved and the man was, in fact, a convicted predator.

A pet peeve of mine is a man walking up to a woman by herself as she is loading her car from shopping, and asking for money, borrow a phone or some such request. I used to be polite, but now with all the crime that happens, I have NO PROBLEM at being very vocal in telling him to get further and stay away from me! If they want to ask for assistance there are PLENTY of men they can ask rather than a vulnerable woman by herself.

Be aware of your environment. Freely look around, posture that broadcasts strength and confidence. Some people coware down arms held close and all stiff. Especially when in a parking lot, day or night. Speak loud in a calm assured voice, not shrill. If you see help or a door that has familie, move quickly. Scream while running away. This country has many illegal aliens that have no scruples and are evil. Backing up is very smart, keep distance (red zone circle 15 to 20 feet from you) and always have an escape plain route, help from others that are female. Be verbal and in charge, demanding they do not come near you. Keep awareness all around you. Yes, and pray for protection and direction.

the trick is to be aware of your surroundings and the people in them, but also not let it run/ruin your life with the anxiety that everyone is a threat. 90% of people are good, and by simply looking confident and aware of your surroundings will help to keep most of the semi-bad people away. it is never wrong to raise your voice to get the attention of others, the worse that can come of that is you may owe an apology to someone for overreacting, but a quick "I'm sorry" is easier to live with than the worst-case scenarios.

I told my friend that he was suspicious. She told me that he asked my name as she was walking in the grocery store door about 30 or 40 ft behind me. Really freaked me out then! As soon as we were done paying we ran to the car and shut the doors. He knocked on my window and being super naive. I cracked it, thinking maybe he knew my family or I cracked it, thinking maybe he knew my parents or something. He proceeded to ask me out on a date and when I told him no he started to get really angry and then I rolled the window up and he started banging my car door. I sped off so fast that I ran over his foot. He was throwing his arms around and screaming. I drove directly to the police station. When I told them what happened they asked me to describe the man. After I described him they brought a picture and asked me if it was him. I said yes. Absolutely! That is him! My eldest daughter actually came across a young 16 year old who was waiting at baggage claim for her ride and felt a very strong compultion that she needed to wait with her whilst the girl was waiting for her ride. Security was no where to be seen unfortunately?! The younger girl was SO grateful and they talked for the 10min to keep safe! I was really proud of my daughter taking this on even though she risked her own safety to do so. (Be careful of women being scouts too because that would definitely be possible?!) We must stand together with others and provide protection against this evil nowadays more than ever before. They're preying upon the lack of community care we have as society is breaking down. So glad that your daughter was safe from this evil.

Almost 40 years ago when I was 21 I was almost abducted at a Kroger parking lot in metro Atlanta. There were 2 guys in a car that pulled up next to me as I was getting out of the car and they offered to fix the small dent I had on my car for a reasonable price if I followed them to their auto garage. A second car had pulled up about 15 parking spaces down closer to the store entrance and as I walked up towards the entrance, the guy in the second car waved at me like he knew me. Being the small town naive girl I was, I waved back and went on in to pick up the prescription I was getting for my husband who’d just had kneed surgery. Something told me to ask the pharmacist if I could borrow the phone to tell my husband the story. As I told the story to my husband, the female pharmacist who was about 50 at the time never took her eyes off me and was simply shaking her head no. When I hung up with my husband, she didn’t say a word, she just picked up the same phone and called the front office and asked for the store manager and the produce manager to walk a customer (me) she had in front of her out to the car. Then she looked at me and said, “no honey, nothing about that sounds right. I’m going to have these 2 men walk you out.” Sure enough, when the 3 of us walked out, the second car with the guy waiving at me earlier was on the other side of my car and when they saw the men on either side of me walking me out, they peeled out. My blood ran cold at that moment because I realized their intentions weren’t good and that pharmacist saved my life. I’ve prayed many times through the years that God blessed that pharmacist. That Kroger was about a mile from I-75. I’ve recently read many abductions happen from shopping centers, malls or business locations where an interstate is very close by because the abduction vehicle can hop on the interstate and disappear. So glad your sweet daughter had angels helping her that day. Another scam I’ve heard is that the scout at an airport or around bar areas will describe the intended victim, down to clothing and luggage if any, to someone pretending to be an Uber who picks up the victim. What wicked times we live in.

This is so crazy to read, I'm so sorry that happened to you. When I was a little girl in the 90's, we lived a mile from I-75 and a beat up car pulled into our neighborhood while I was playing outside and the couple in the front seat said "hey little girl, do you know where I-75 is?" and I pointed "that way!". Then they said "Thank you! Can you come show us on this map?" and I ran the other way. I was only 8-10 years old maybe? And I'm so grateful I knew to run away and not engage and will be teaching my own children those same lessons.

When I was a young and dumb 22 year old young lady, I traveled with cousins to Europe for a friend’s wedding. On my return I had to wait at the Milan airport by myself overnight. I sat in the middle of the big empty waiting area, I thought surely no one would dare do anything in a public space. 5 Italian guys came over to sit with me, ask me questions, laughing among each other, they wouldn’t leave. I was so scared I didn’t want to move. I made up my answers of where I live, was nice to avoid upsetting them. They eventually left me alone. Scariest experience of my life. Forty years ago an older man grabbed me as I was walking by myself in Nürnberg Germany. He grabbed me from behind and was trying to pull me into his Mercedes. I used a couple of self defense moves that I knew to break free and was screaming my head off. A few people were watching but did not help. Then suddenly a man that spoke English came out of the crowd and intervened. He was an undercover military CID agent. When I moved back to the US I was jumped and robbed by two thugs that lept out of a moving pickup when I was getting out of my car in front of a friend’s house. One held a gun to my head. What saved me is that my friend saw what was happening through her glass door and yelled at them. One was caught by the police that night. He had a long rap sheet so it got me angry when the DA allowed him to take a plea bargain and the criminal was only given 24 months jail time. I now live in a tight knit farming community and never leave my house without a weapon and weather permitting one of my dogs. Crime is out of control in this country. We need to lock down the border, support law enforcement and vote people into office that will not be lenient on criminals.

At 16, my daughter and a friend went to a concert at a small Ft Lauderdale venue. Because of traffic, I dropped them off and picked them up at a 7-11 that was one block from the venue. As I was circling the block to pick them up, they noticed 2 younger girls, about 11-12, being harassed by some older guys who were trying to convince the younger girls to go with them. My daughter and her friend saw what was going on and immediately surrounded the girls, taking their arms saying “oh my gosh I’ve been looking for you! Let’s go inside” and they pulled the girls inside the 7-11 all the while also yelling expletives and insults at the older guys calling them creeps and jerks and to go away. They made sure the girls would stay inside until their ride came and calmed them down and made them laugh, because the younger girls were really so frightened. Girl Code! I was so proud of my daughter and friend for being aware and brave and rude and loud and correctly assessing the situation. I think 11-12 is way too young to go to a concert without parents, as these things can happen. I was worried about my daughter and friend at 16, as it was one of the first times she was allowed to go without a parent. Then in college, at 19 yo, a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk in downtown Pittsburgh near the subway groped her leg as she passed by and she spun around and smacked his hand and screamed at him at the top of her lungs for being a “musty old degenerate man.” She was so upset no one nearby even looked her way or looked like they might help her. Everyone just kept walking by. She was all dressed up and meeting us downtown on a Sunday afternoon for a ballet performance. It really shook her up and she was in tears over it when she got to us. Stuff like this can happen ANY time of day! I am glad my daughter had many years of karate, and was pretty good, to the point were a lot of the boys at the dojo were afraid to spar against her. She’s also a sports coach and works out 5-6 days a week. So she’s strong and has some defense skills, and a big mouth when needed, but a 130 lb woman is still at a huge disadvantage against most men. Situational awareness at all times of the day is key, and it can happen in any city or town.

@@eriklarsson3188not every woman has a close male family member they can drag along with them on every single trip they take, some of them have no close male family member at all. They shouldn’t have to, either. You’re basically victim blaming here. The ACTUAL problem is that men are doing this in the first place, and that there’s a market for it (also 99% men). So the problem is just…men. Quit trying to shift the blame. Don’t even think of saying “not ALL men!1” because DUH, but that does not negate the fact that it’s men that are the problem. This is rape culture, toxic masculinity, all those things that you probably roll your eyes at every time you see or hear them, and especially when you hear them from a woman. Your attitude is part of the problem, even if you aren’t one of the men directly involved. A woman is not trying to be a “boss babe” if she needs or wants to take a trip alone, for Christ’s sake.

At the gate and surrounding gates for my flight there was no one there but me. I’m about 55 at the time. 15 min later a beautiful young lady came a sat across from me less than 6 feet. With just a cordial smile and nod, I greeted her and went back to texting my wife and I told my wife what just happened. A little time passed and the third person showed up and sat across from me and three seats down. When the fourth woman about 30 yrs old came over a sat two seats from me on my side, I started to freak out! They started a conversation with me and talked about all kinds of subjects. I texted my wife to tell her how old I felt and I became a grandfather to these three girls. For a half hour we were the only ones in three waiting gates. My wife laughed at me. I quickly tell my husband what was going on and he says to them "What do you need?" In his loud deep male voice. Lol. They then said they had left a charger in the room. To which my husband responded "there is no charger in here and if you don't leave we are going to call the police!" They left, we watched to make sure they were gone and packed our crap and got the heck out of there. I was so shaken! I feel like if they had made it to me before I got back to the door I would have been taken. Then when they knocked, they thought I was alone and might open and then they would have taken me. Similar situation to my daughter in a department store. The guy followed her around the store. Stood behind her in line. She called me. I told her to get an employee. No luck. Get out of that line, do not leave the store. Find a safe person. She did. The safe person followed her out of the store. Two cars were parked outside. Dark windows, no license plate. Daughter got into the car with safe person to drive her to daughters car. The men followed them around the parking lot. My daughter left the area with the safe person, did not go near daughter's car to protect her identity. They came back and then the safe person followed her home. Police were involved. Found out that there was a group going through the area to find target young girls.

Years ago I was taking my morning walk in my safe suburban neighborhood, I had air buds on, when I left my home my husband said to me I don’t like you walking with the earbuds in your ears, you aren’t aware of your surroundings, as I was walking I thought about what he said and started to look around, in the corner of my eye I saw a station wagon going about 5 miles an hour and I saw two guys in front seat, the passenger dropped to the floor and started to slowly open the car door, I walked into a strangers backyard and knocked on there back door, told them what happened, I was able to call my husband to pick me up, we drove around for an hour he was trying to find the station wagon, actually my husband was a police officer, ( now retired) and I’m sure he saved my life that day by mentioning the earbuds Ladies be careful out there and be aware

Two men were talking outside the car as I sat inside. Being young I watched them as there wasn't much else to do. The two men soon said their goodbyes and one left. The other man walked by the car, seeing me inside alone he stopped... I don't remember much of what was said other than him telling me to open the door and banging on the window with a tennis racket. It couldn't of lasted more than a minute or two but it felt like an eternity. Finally I just screamed at him with everything I had to go away. He looked around and left. I never told my mother and stayed silent when she returned...i was literally traumatized the next couple days. Young Boys these days are in just as much danger as girls from abduction...idk if you have been following the Smiley face abductions. There have been dozens and dozens of teenage to collage age abductions and drownings all over the Northeast. Two NYC detectives have recently written a book about it... I’m 55, and I think one of the most harmful things taught to me growing up, was to be polite to everyone. Being polite has cause me so much harm, and standing up and speaking up for myself and my safety never has. I’d rather accidentally be wrong and offend someone who didn’t deserve it, than be polite to a clever predator. I hate walking around the world with my guard up, it hurts my soul. I’m an outgoing friendly person who loves to talk to strangers, but that’s not in favor of my safety and the world just is what it is now. My young niece who is like me in nearly every way, is not polite. She’s felt ashamed by her loud aggressiveness at times, but I continually tell her to never stop. Be loud, speak up, say what you’re feeling, do what you have to. At the end of the day, the only goal is to get home safely.

A man tried to force me to get into his car once when I was walking to meet my husband several blocks away I was about 45. He actually started yelling, "Get in my car! I am trying to be nice and give you a ride!" Another thing happened a few years ago, age 55, I got off the bus a guy saw me, slowed way down and watched me walk for a couple blocks. My husband told me he had watched this guy stalking me after I got off the bus, he was creeping behind me and seemed to be waiting for cars behind him to pull around . He was pulling up beside me when I turned and walked toward my husband waiting in his vehicle. As soon as he saw my husband the guy raced off.

They ended up sitting by me on the train and this lady starts talking to me about all these sexual things and trying to get me to go get lunch or drinks with them. There was no way I was doing that no matter what, and I was on my way to catch a flight so I had that excuse. Eventually over the loudspeaker a beware of sex trafficking alert came on and this lady looked at me and asked if I was down with that? The shock I felt in that moment was crazy. My heart started pounding because that confirmed my suspicion of why she was talking to me in the first place. As soon as my stop got close, I called my mom and thank GOD she answered. I got off the bus and so did they, but they wondered off NOT in the direction of the airport at all. One of the scariest moments of my life.

Respectfully, just one correction, we have to train our eyes to see vulnerable individuals. Not just women. Young boys, single young men that might look nervous, or unusually quiet. Some victims are overlooked because we are trained to look at certain situations when in reality, it’s anyone that’s vulnerable. These days, they will take grandma just to sell her organs so everyone is a potential victim. In this case, I am glad your daughter had the sense to stay in the airport and make eye contact with security. Discussing all avenues, step-by-step, and what could have been done instead, is a very important conversation to have. Mr. Rogers had commented that we are not teaching these things to cause fear, but hard conversations out of enlightenment by a loving parent is the proper way, I am paraphrasing. God bless you all, and may God protect the children.

Dallas PD should be notified. They could easily put people at the airport and put something on the car and find out where it goes and maybe rescue some girls.

The fact that airport security saw this incident and did nothing is troublesome. The very least airport security could have done was to step in and ask if she knew the stranger. As soon as she said no he should have been escorted out of the area or security stayed with her until her ride arrived.

As a parent I am watching your parents faces and they are hanging on your every word still scared and shocked. Their worst ...worst... nightmare almost happened to their baby girl. I know what they are thinking. I have 2 beautiful daughters and strange men have almost done terrible things but for the grace of God they were able to talk their way out of situations and in one case he had my eldest daughter in his truck alone. Always listen to your internal alarms and use your wit to do what ever you need to do to save your self. scary.

Having worked with minor girls who were recovered from trafficking, in California, this has gone on for quite some time. CA has been #1 for long before the border issue due to two major highways crossing in Sacramento. Plus, super easy to fly them from the west coast to anywhere in the world. Soooooo disgusting and horrible. Unfortunately the trauma is so damaging for life.

My sister and I had a man try to kidnap us in the early 1960s in California. He grabbed her and I kicked him in the shin. He let her go and I told her to run and she did. I was stupid, I still stood there. He grabbed me and I yelled for her. She ran back and kicked him in the shin also. He let go of me and we both ran.

When I was 16 , many, many years ago, in London a very well dressed old woman tried to take me away. She hold my arm and made a signal to two men besides a black car on the other side of the road. I noticed that and, thank God, I was able to get off and run as quickly as I could. I was one of the lucky ones. I was a Spanish girl in a big city I didn't know. Few days after that, a policeman told me that London was not Spain (Spain then) , and I couldn't go walking slowly alone and accompanied me right to my house.

I had been slipped something in my apple juice prior to my work shift ending; I had realized it had happened when I left my drink to use the restroom. I had also noticed a customer that kept trying to get over friendly. When I started heading home I started feeling like I had been drugged and noticed I was being followed. I detoured to the nearest police station and was still followed up until I got out and walked into the police station. I was 19 years old. Since then I never leave a drink unattended.. it goes to the restroom or discarded. Be Safe!

I’m so glad that Nevaeh is safe and listened to her inner voice (God)! I live in a rural area and today I picked up my neighbor’s middle school daughter walking home from school (over 5 miles) down rural roads. Her grandparents weren’t home, nor her parents and she missed the bus. She didnt easily recognize me, but just jumped in my family van when invited. As a mother & neighbor, I used the drive home to caution and warn her to not walk home alone or get in a strangers’ car. Her innocent ignorance scared me!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING. THIS SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME IN NYC Bus Station. When i walked out of the bus station to walk across the road to a Starbucks. A man very aggressively followed me back into the bus station and tried to force me to go with him. He was going to grab me but I walked close to security trying to make eye contact. And what saved me was the people on the bus I was waiting with in a layover... the same people I had gotten to know on the bus that we were on before we got there. This happened 20 years ago. I *always* wondered why he was so aggressive and trying to force me to go with him. but now that you've told this story, it makes sense, I now understand what he was trying to do. He was sooooo in my face and forceful... it was disturbing. He Even followed to me to the waiting area and loudly questions the other passengers, asking if I had a boyfriend with me, because that's what i told him as i walked to my group of passengers. I whispered to the guy next to me asking him to say he was my boyfriend. He was afraid to do it, but did, and it made the aggressor storm off. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR THIS.

Thanks for putting out this video to inform all women especially young women. The mom is very discerning and has wise advice. I was disappointed that the father did not have any wise sound advice to his daughter or women audiences. There are many reliable resources out there. It would have been great to get in contact with one of those trafficking organizations to provide helpful tips to share. I do agree we should not be paranoid but we should be very aware and vigilant. I agree with the mom that the daughter should have reported the issue. I would have walked up to the female security that she mentioned and tell her what happened. Always report an issue like this. As the old adage, "Better be safe than sorry." What's the worse that can happen? The daughter didn't know how to answer to some of these perpetrator's questions like, "Where are you staying?". In this day and age, you just need to be somewhat rude and bold to people like these. When I get approached or get asked any kind of questions like that, I tell them it's none of their business!!! We are not obligated questions from strangers. Sadly, with the open borders, we've faced an epidemic of children and women being trafficked. So don't let your guard down even in your own town where we think it is "safe". These traffickers are everywhere! There is safety in numbers as long as the person you're with is street smart and not naive.

It happened to my son when he was only 18 years old at New York airport. He was approached by a man at airport as he was looking for the shuttle to go to his connecting flight to Spain. A man try to force him into a white van. My son return to the airport and told security what had happened. He was walked outside and taken to shuttle. The security told him many young people get robbed that way. I had told him before he went to Spain all the dangers and he told me he felt in danger and did the right thing to tell security. Your children are never too old get parent advice. Speak to your children because bad people are always around.

So glad she is safe and became hyperalert and proactive! This made me relive the night I was with my 16 year old beautiful daughter in Walmart in Las Vegas and a Latino man about 40 was watching her, then when she left my side around a corner he asked her how old she was and she told him because it caught her off guard and was being "nice". She came back to me and told me. I noticed then about 4 of them were walking around the isles watching her, one with an empty shopping cart. Occasionally they got together. I told her to stay alert because something was up. This went on for about 20 minutes and then I knew for sure that she was in danger so I talked with an employee who called security. They kept an eye on them with the cameras and employees and then had the largest guards escort us out the door to our car and see us off. One of those creeps watched as we left with the guards. In retrospect, I think they should have called the police however from past experience, unless someone has actually committed a crime they cant do anything. Definitely a trafficking ring, nauseating. Not enough being done about this. What a relief your beautiful daughter is home safe. Thanks for sharing and educating other families.

@@kellyprice1024huh? Trump is for white supremacy which promotes women being owned by men & treated like chattel. How do you not understand by his grabbing women by the crotch? In Texas white men will say “why was she traveling alone?” They feel like she’s asking for it. The MAGA in my area confronted me for living alone in rural east Texas & told me it should be illegal for women to own property without a husband or son living with me. They said I deserve anything they do to me because I’m out here alone. First thing that happened… they broke into my house & went through everything & stole beer & a bunch of personal documents for the sale of the house etc. They told me they are MAGA white supremacists & they said the last Democrat who voted in this district had his house burned down. They said “ we thought you’d like to know”. I’m not Democrat. My truck is not American so they decided I am the enemy. MAGA are hostile & mental.

Once I was approached at a park in Belize City, by a guy riding a bicycle. My husband and sons were out of sight, just over the seawall, not in earshot. It was a quiet area, and we didn't expect this. He began making overtures and saying dirty things to me. I had had an older friend that was a college professor tell me before I went there that it was super dangerous, and if this kind of thing happened to act crazy. I did. I really put on an act, and to him it must have seemed as if I was possessed, and "I" frightened him. He looked alarmed and swung around and rode away as fast as possible. He was a young, athletic, Carib or Garifuna (native) man, and I am not a large woman. I likely couldn't have actually gotten away from him if he had decided to assault me. Being armed with the knowledge from my wise friend was what God used to save me. I was very thankful nothing came of it after all -- but he wasn't going away by my polite "No's".
